I truly don’t think I’ve been in the presence of a better lunch in my life. I had the “Dueling Claws” sampler rolls with the house aioli and both rolls were phenomenal- the crab especially so. I also ordered the coleslaw I am not a slaw person and it was so delicious. Service was also amazing, too. I’m so glad we stopped by - I’d recommend!!!
Outstanding Experience! It's all worth the price. I love my lobster roll, and the bread roll is tasty. I wish the bread was much bigger/longer. The clam chowder is good. It is just hard to find a parking spot. We are diffently coming back again!Food: 5/5
Awesome service. Good spot off the main road so it's kind of lively but not a ton of walking traffic outside. Lobster roll the reason I went based on another review was absolutely amazing. Real lobster in a toasted buttery bun. A tad more expensive than I expected $21 for a sandwich but it's lobster... Kid-friendliness: Very laid back atmosphere with kid-friendly music.
9/10 would say this is the spot to get food when come to see the views and shops this is a must stop and recharge. Lobster rolls are amazing but I would recommend getting the grilled cheese lobster. We got hooked on them and is one item that we talk about when we think about our trip there. The lobster bisque was good. But the clam chowder stole the show. I would ask to add more lobster to the bisque and paired it with the grilled cheese and was in food heaven. This is now on our family road trips moving forward any time we go we will be stopping here.
It was good but not great. Felt the lobster roll was missing something special to make the lobster stand out. It was just an okay sandwich. The crab cake was very good though… tried the lobster bisque, and it was good too. Salads were large, def recommend getting the crab cake one! Good little lunch spot with nice outdoor seating area. Parking: Street parking only.
Stopped in for take out. Late dinner for us, maybe that explains our meal since it was closer to closing, I guess. We ordered one lobster roll regular size and the second roll as a "boss," which was supposed to be 50% more meat. Didn't experience that as we sat side by side and compared the Lobster chunks...did not get 50% more at all. Also, we didn't get that drippy butter from the rolls in fact, neither of us tasted butter? Have enjoyed these sandwiches at other restaurants and in different states. Not the same experience. We searched out this restaurant as we like to patronize small businesses. Maybe an off night but we won't return as the pricing is too high for the meals we received.
One of our favorite lobster rolls on the West Coast. The warm butter lobster roll along with lobster bisque are amazing. 2nd only to The Lobster Place at Chelsea Market in NYC.Recommended dishesLobster Bisque Clam Chowder, Lobster Roll Combo
We just moved here and came in today for my birthday.. we didn’t catch the cashier name .. but he was awesome !!!!!!!!!! He not only gave me a dessert but he took our picture.. the food was so good .. definitely will come backFood: 5/5
Parking: We had stopped by at 645 on a Wednesday and there were a few open street parking Ambience: calm and mellow in the evening Service: The service was welcoming. They served us partial of our order and 5 mins in I thought they forgot the crab cakes but the server came up to us to let Under Armour know they didn’t forget and it was coming out shortly Food: I ordered the Flight to try out all three soups. The clam chowder was the best of them while the others had canned vegetables that weren’t too appealing. Also got the basis crab and lobster roll. I’m a carnivore and thought that was a fair amount of meat given there were options for more meat. The crab cake was average, definitely not worth the price for it. Supports Military: 10% Discount Overall: Great rolls and welcoming service.
We frequent Lobster West when we visit Coronado. We love their Lobster rolls. It's such a cute little shop. Not a large beer selection. We usually sit on the patio. It's a small patio but so far, we've never had problem getting a seat outside.
