If you’re looking for a great dermatologist, Phillip LoBuono is your doctor. Great bedside manner and Very professional and knowledgeable . His office is very clean and the staff are friendly!!
I went to see the doctor a few weeks ago for hives . The only friendly person in that entire office was the receptionist. An older woman came in . I said hi and she looked right through me , The doctor personally called me into the exam room and when we got to the room he told me I don’t have to sit down. While I was standing he took a seat. He did not seem concerned with my issues but he was more concerned with telling me that I don’t need to wear my mask anymore. He told me to take over the counter allergy medication and then said we’re done. That visit room all of 3 minutes, he dismissed me and I was surprised by how I was treated. I will not be going back.
A perfect experience!! I have been to other dermatologist who’s treatments were not working. Dr Lo Brando diagnosed my condition in under five minutes. The treatment he suggested worked perfectly. His staff is amazing, welcoming and extremely happy people. Would recommend to everyone!
What a great doctor and staff! I just made an appointment and I hardly give any reviews unless I am very happy with everything. And I am ! I highly recommend this doctor. He is very pleasant and knows everything. The staff are very friendly and polite. Thank you so much for taking me right away. I rate this place Excellent!!! unbeatable!

Dr. LoBuono is a wonderful doctor. He is easy to talk to, and always listens to my concerns and offers effective recommendations he also has excellent recommendations for local restaurants! The condition of my skin has improved significantly since I have been seeing him. Additionally, the office staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I have never had an issue with a delayed or canceled appointment, and have always had pleasant interactions with the receptionists in person and over the phone. I will continue to see Dr. LoBuono as he is an incredibly professional and experienced dermatologist with a great office staff.
As someone with doctor anxiety, I’m writing this review to hopefully help others with doctor anxiety and trauma find the right practice for them. The doctor didn’t ask if he could start the examination, he just grabbed me and started without my consent. Then he barely let me get a word in to explain my situation before he spoke AT me, not with me. I had to finally interrupt him to express my concerns which were dismissed because “he’s seen it all before”. I was met with no compassion or empathy and left more distraught than when I went in. I strongly recommend going somewhere else.
The office is a complete combination of welcoming and professional. Both LoBuono and his staff greet you upon seeing you creating a nice environment to come into. Likewise, I find Dr. LoBuono to be very helpful and efficient when seeing patients. At least for my needs, he seems to be very knowledgeable in his diagnosis and procedure.
I've been to multiple dermatologists, none of which had been able to help me. Within 5 minute of my visit with Dr. LoBuono he knew exactly what was going on and was able to develop a course of treatment. Truly he is experienced, honest, and personable. I would recommend him, especially out of other dermatologists in Monmouth County.
