We love working with Jamie and Jacki at The Local Lighting Shop! They are both very knowledgeable, have access to great products, an awesome showroom, are great with customers and do an awesome job guiding you on consistent style, sizing, etc. for your space. We purchased all of the decorative lighting from them for our Thornberry Custom Builders, Inc. model home in Punta Gorda and couldn't be happier with the job they did! Their communication with us and the electrical contractor, timeliness, and follow through made for an excellent experience. Highly recommend!!
We highly recommend The Local Lighting Shop! After moving into our new home a year ago, we had an older fixture that needed to go. With a recommendation we headed to see Jamie. Oh my this shop is absolutely gorgeous and great customer service. It was a lot of fun going through all of our options. We just had our beautiful chandelier installed and we absolutely love it! It is more than just a fixture, it is an art piece. Now I want to update all of our lighting!
We had no clue what end was up in regard to lighting while building our home and happen to fall into the knowledgeable hands of Jacki. And thank goodness we did because the Local Lighting Shop made a huge impact on the feel of our home. Jacki came to our house before it was even finished and quietly assessed our situation and listened to my husband and my different styles and guided us toward a happy medium. I loved the no pressure approach to picking out each fixture. It was actually fun when it could have been stressful. When one of the lights arrived I felt uncertain of it and had completely changed my mind on the direction I was going , and it was no big deal to switch. The exchange process was painless working with Jamie another light expert who works for Jacki and I ended up loving the new light. Fast forward, two years later, Jacki happened to stop by our house and noticed one of our outdoor lights wasn’t holding up as well to the Florida elements as she would have liked it to and insisted on getting us a new one! What service is that?! All in all they were a game changer for making our home feel super custom for a resonible cost. I would highly recommend to check them out for yourself.
I bought a $150.00 gift certificate from The Local Lighting Shop and gave to a client couple as a thank you. My clients had bought a Punta Gorda condominium that needed some updating, including lighting. That was around the end of August. My clients called me today October 7 complaining about The LLC. They are ready to order a fixture and are getting the runaround. The LLC won't return calls, or their calls go to voice-mail. Come on LLC. You were happy to take my money back in August. How about helping my clients out ? Help them order the Lighting they requested.
Thanks to Jamie and Jackie for hooking us up with gorgeous lighting fixtures for our master bath remodel. LOVE them! Service was excellent, too. When our remodeler accidentally broke one of the globes, Local Lighting Shop got us a replacement right away. Thanks so much for a great experience!
Jamie and the crew at Local Lighting Shop are the best! I highly recommend them to my friends and family who live in Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte. The lighting and chandelier in our kitchen makes the room come alive with light and character.
