Art Show Opening Reception and Lecture by Artist Casey Lard Tonight
Everyone is invited to the opening reception for the artist Casey Lard at 8pm tonight in the Sloan Gallery. In her artist statement titled Displaced Desire, Ms. Lard describes her intent in her works to address the relationship between women and men, the male gaze, and objectification. Casey will talk about her paintings and drawings tonight at the reception. We hope that you will be able to join us for a thought provoking topic, discussion, and refreshments. The exhibition is open to the public and will be on display through Feb 17th.
