Rustic lodge good for group gatherings and dinners. Out off the beaten track on Macopin Rd. Look sharp for the sign or you can blow right by the entrance. Big hill off main road down to the lodge. Right on the shore of picturesque tiny lake. Also on the property adjacent to the lodge is a popular paintball range. Lots of parking.
Camp Ocawasin is a beautiful place!!! The Rustic Lodge with large fireplace is a great venue for parties of any occasion. We rented the Lodge on two separate occasions to hold a Halloween Party....IT WAS GREAT!!! The veranda off the back of the dinner area is right on the waters edge. The fog was coming in off the lake creating an erie atmosphere... Perfect for a Halloween Party!!! I've attended many other affairs there and every one of them was wonderful!! I'll be back to attend many more!!! We love this beautiful place!
Owner is rude, space is ok for certain events. Weird vibe there.
Hosted a baby shower yesterday with about 65 people. I have to say these guys went above and beyond all expectations I had. Let me start by saying the actual venue is beautiful surrounded by the lake with huge roaring fireplace inside. Food was absolutely amazing and seemed like it never stopped coming out. Ross and Artie really came through for me on this while staying in my price points. Will host many more gatherings here in the future.
The place is beautiful and peaceful but the management is just TERRIBLE! The owner came to the bride and groom demanding money and saying all kinds of profanity! BEWARE of this place!!!
Just a cool little spot for a gathering, birthday, charity event, bar night. Great mountain ambience.
