Stopped by to get Chinese food for dinner for the family. This place looks like a ghost town. There are only a handful of shops left in there. I am surprised that Capt. Harvey's is still there. You have to go early if you want a cheese steak sub. The were closed when I was there, that was around 6pm. They have crazy dam hours. How can you run a sub shop when you close so dam early every day. I remember when we started going there years ago on a Friday or Saturday night. The line used to be out of the door to the lot. People used to line up in there just for a decent cheese steak sub. Now the are closed up and lights off by 7. That's crazy.
Not much of a shopping strip anymore, especially since the grocery store closed years ago. Please, someone breathe life back into Logan Village. I go there to get my hair cut, at the barber shop and I go to the nail salon. Dollar General has mostly empty shelves. There's a couple other places in this strip, but nothing to write home about. It isn't bustling like it was years ago.
I kept hearing, not the same as it used to be so I checked it out. Found out not as much meat and onions but good. They need to step up their game, Merritt has them topped now.
Great food and right price. Can make three subs from the portation.
All the employees are very helpful and pleasant, after working retail for 35 years myself.working retail can be stressful.the only complaint I have is.we have no grocery store in our area and having a disability.when they get a truck delivery, they close the store down so they can unload the truck.they don't have enough employees to help.its a big inconvenience,we have alot of senior citizens in the area.
Today is my 57th birthday today. My experience with the only nail salon in Logan village is awesome. Got my nails and toes done. It was great. Go to them.
Cute Asian owned little restaurant, there is no indoor seating.
I actually stopped at the Pawn Shop on the corner of the shopping center unfortunately needing to tend to a personal matter. On that particular day I was able to speak with the store manager who was very respectful and extremely considerate as well as empathetic regarding my situation. Especially since he was fully involved involved in my reason for being there. Several weeks later when I returned to finalize the terms of an agreement that was made between myself & the Manager, the individuals that I dealt with were extremely insulting. They actually walked several steps away from me in lieu of somewhere private whispering to one another. As the whispering continued, I attempted to interject the info that the Manager had given me & was ignored as the whispering continued. Eventually everything worked out. I'm writing this review because it seems as though everywhere I go whether it's to a Pawn Shop, or to an upscale Restaurant, I see people being treated with such disrespect. Customers against workers, workers against customer's, as well as Management against employee for EVERYONE to see & hear. It's so sad. We are all people just trying to muddle through. We ALL make mistakes! Those without sin cast the first stone... We don't need to publicly humiliate because we feel as though we have the "Power" to do so. We need to remember to treat others as we would want to be treated.
It's so dead the walking dead won't go!! Big Bites has the best food around ! Very nice people
