I recently attended “Coping With Colors” at Lohman Funeral Home and had a wonderful time. This event is a brilliant way to help cope with loss as it gives you a couple hours to open your mind to your creative side!  Having recently experienced multiple losses in my immediate family, I found this very relaxing!  Can’t wait to attend another class!  I also impressed myself with my adorable Flamingo who I named Farrah!

I really enjoyed "Coping with Colors" with Nina. This is a fantastic way to cope with grief and join in fellowship with others who are going through similar experiences. Even if you are not grieving at this time, it's still a fun past-time to take your mind off of daily stress. Thank you Lohman for providing space for this wonderful event.

A mother's passing creates a unique and overwhelming sadness and emptiness in a family. And her funeral arrangements should reflect an appropriate level of dignity and respect in recognition of that loss. In that regard, Lohman's Funeral Home and especially Funeral Director, Tami and staff were outstanding in every way. The difference between what is average and what is outstanding is usually in how the details are  handled. Tami made sure that every detail and every request that was made were acted upon with careful and considerate haste. Jennifer and Kelly should also receive praise for their kindness and consideration. And the excellent limousine service with Joe driving made us reflect how much that enhanced our overall experience. I can't praise Lohman's enough for their professionalism and kindness. I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

Wonderful service! Tami and the staff at Lohman’s Daytona were incredible. We had high standards and very specific needs and wants for my employer’s dad’s funeral. Tami was able to accommodate these needs during and after the service and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were able to celebrate the life of a great man the way that he deserved. Tami and the staff were able to adjust things as we went when they had some curve balls thrown their way as well. I would recommend Lohman’s to anyone that wants to see their loved ones off in the best way possible. Additionally, they just upgraded their audio/visual system and they ensured it worked flawlessly.

Tami was such an absolute gift for our family… So caring and considerate, I could not have gotten through this without all of her kindness and attention to detail, really going above and beyond and all the while with such grace and patience. Thank you Tami, so very much, as the weight you carry everyday cannot be easy, but you are so very appreciated by the countless people whose hearts you’ve touched by just being you.

I recently attended an event sponsored by Lohman Funeral Home Daytona called Coping with Colors.  It is a 2-hour event that is in conjunction with Painting with a Twist.  You don't need to be artistic because I am not, but the instructors are there to help you every step of the way!  It is for people who have experienced a loss in their life and need to be surrounded  by good people for a little bit of friendship, conversation, and togetherness and take your mind off of your troubles!  And you get to make a fabulous painting!! Nina Guiglotto is the hostess and she makes you feel right at home!.  There's raffles and snacks and other people who you can network with as well.  I highly recommend you try Coping with Colors and bring a friend with you!  Also, if you need any pre-arrangements for your funeral or the funeral of your loved ones, I would definitely make an appointment with Nina at Lohman's.  I work in a church in Ormond Beach and have worked with other people at Lohman's in setting up funerals and they all have always been very professional and so detail oriented and handle all my requests so I know the people who are grieving their loved ones do not have to worry.  I would recommend Nina and Lohman's and Coping with Colors!

I was very touched and moved by the care Sylvia at Lohmans handled my husbands affairs.  She was so helpful and considerate ,  made things much easier for me and was very available for whatever needs arose. We had made our plans with Lohmans long ago, and having Sylvia at the helm was just perfect. Thank you again.

I never thought what would happen should I unexpectedly pass. I then attended Get Your Ducks in a Row at Lohman Funeral Home. I learned everything that could go wrong and the clear burden it puts on family and friends when nothing is planned.   Nina provided such an excellent presentation that I called her soon after to set an appointment. She gives excellent insight with such professionalism that I now have a plan in place.    My mother recently met with Nina and now has a plan. I would highly recommend Lohman Funeral Home and ask for Nina.

I recently attended Coping with Colors hosted by Nina G and Painting with a Twist.  This event is helpful in many ways ... Nina shows so much compassion and empathy to everyone!  She is truly a shining star!   Everyone at the event has experienced a loss in some form and can relate to the grief we all feel.  This event allows us to share our stories, get to know other families that are struggling with their loss and at the same time, have a fun time.

I attended Painting with a Twist several times. Nina is great with what she does and very  caring about everyone she comes in contact with. I look forward to the event every month and hope this continues. I take care of elderly people all week and my husband so it’s great therapy for me. I help with giving gift certificates and invite others to attend as well. I want to thank the funeral home for allowing us to gather there. Thanks again!!
