The kids always have a good time when we go get plants or pumpkins. They love watching the fish tanks and turtles. My husband and I like the quality plants and getting mulch by the truck load. Great place to support a small local business.
Some pretty rare plants! Friendly employees
My grandson was in there today to buy 3 large pumpkins and 2 medium pumpkins and a bag of of small gourds and pumpkin. The man working the cash register asked him if there was anything he was hiding or stealing. He was serious. Who does that. He was with a friend and he was upset that he would be accused of that. That will be the last time for my family. So much for shopping local.
Our family thinks this is the most AMAZING place in Harrison. Wonderful staff, friendly animals, and GREAT experience. We visit very frequently and will continue to do so :

Wonderful! A large variety of plants and garden accessories and necessities! Fun to walk through. They even have a Secret Garden for the kids..and big kids like me enjoyed it too!
I really really love this place... is really oldschool. You can find a lot of things that might be difficult to find in a more modern place. I recommend visiting...
They have everything...and at least six new things I didn't know I wanted/needed. The prices are great and the people there pretty much know everything...that I've ever asked anyway. They even have amazing teenagers!
Lohman's is a very nice store which we frequent. We needed a Christmas tree, and thanks to late shopping from being out of town our usual place was depleted in supply. Lohman's had a nice selection of quality trees, and as always the service was great.
Great place to work and a great place to shop. I seldom buy from anyone else. Doug Lohman is the best boss and extremely knowledgeable about all types of plants and garden supplies. Great small business!
