I’ve been getting my hair done at LoKs for a few years now, and the service is top notch! They are super thorough and always take care of my curls! Desi does a phenomenal job and I’m always happy when I leave the salon. The ladies are down to earth, and very hospitable. I had my hair done at Lok and I was beyond happy with my experience! The ladies at this salon are so warm and inviting! They offered me a mimosa and wine both times I went in which made it feel so relaxed, like it was true me time! The owner of Lok is such a nice person and so easy to talk to! If you get your hair done here you will NOT be disappointed! I’m over the moon about how my hair looks and feels as I believe everyone gets a deep conditioner when you get a shampoo! Loks Salon is just fantastic! It’s cozy, elegant, and literally everyone who works there is absolutely wonderful! Loks is the only place I will EVER go to get my hair cut! Desirae is my usual stylist, and she is amazing! I always leave satisfied and loving the outcome. You can tell she loves her job as well as she takes her time, is a perfectionist when it comes to making everything even, and gives the best head massage when shampooing your hair I almost fall asleep every time! I only get haircuts for now, but I follow them on Instagram because I just love looking at their amazing hair projects they do with coloring as well. The entire staff is also super professional and friendly, and the establishment is always looking clean and pretty with their seasonal decorations. Meghann has been doing my hair for years and everytime I leave with beautiful hair! She's done everything from blonde, to red, back to natural brown color along with adding some highlights and layers to add dimension. The salon itself is so stylish, clean, and welcoming. I have lived in Groton for four years and always traveled outside of the town for my hair appointments. My boyfriend endlessly advises I go to Loks Salon not only because he knew one of the hairdressers from high school but also it was closest to our house. As well as the reviews I’ve read and heard from others, I decided to check them out. The environment was so calm and welcoming, very clean and well managed. Desiree is my hairdresser and now my forever go to person I entrust with my hair only! This salon has great employees, I always refer all my peers over to them.

Desi is my go to girl although I’d have to say all the ladies are extremely talented. I’ve been going here long enough to see each of them work. My hair goes in absolute shambles and comes out looking like a million bucks. The hair wash and head massage is worth it in itself. I love these ladies and leave with a look beyond my expectations. I decided to go here because my best friend swears by this place. Being a woman of color you just don’t go to anyone to get your hair done! with that being said I have went years and yes I mean years without getting my hair trimmed to maintain dead ends etc. I have just been going from different box braid protective styles to last me until I found someone I could trust with my hair. I’ve been through too many haircut horror stories to go through anymore. Loretta is the absolute best and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. I didn’t realize I would be indulging in a full self care day until I walked into this facility. From the friendly smiles and the way the stylists greeted me made me feel welcome. Not to mention I got free snacks and offered wine. Never did I think I could get a little tipsy while getting my hair done. Clearly I’ve been deprived because I’ve only seen those things done in videos I have found my new home, people I can trust with the health of my hair. Loretta counseled and informed me throughout the entire appt. From now on I know exactly where I’m going to get my hair done and it’s at Loks Salon in Groton, CT. Did I mention they offer wine and snacks.. if I knew that prior I would’ve been there sooner! So look no further if you need a salon! Go to this place hands down!!
