So good! I had the longest day and stopped in for a cold beer and a hot plate. They had both! There was a pretty decent selection of bottled beers, a handful of local selections which was nice. I got #14 bean tostada with cheese enchilada. I loved it!! I got my beer and some warm chips with salsa lightning fast, it got me feeling good and excited for my meal. When it came out after just a little bit, I was in love! The rice was delicious, honestly I'm all about Mexican rice and my only complaint was the spoon wasn't big enough to shovel more into my mouth! The tostada was great, nice and hot, crispy. The enchilada was amazing, the sauce I'm guessing made in house is rich and smokey, not very spicy but very flavorful. Great family restaurant or even a nice little date night, the female server there tonight was on point. Running around, keeping everyone happy, balancing her time at every table and getting things done. What a pro!
This is a cute, little Mexican restaurant with great service and really good food. Monique was really attentive and sweet to us.Food: 5/5
Best tacos by the beach!!! I came here because they allowed me to sit in the outdoor patio with my dog. The waitress is very friendly and beautiful too. I tried the wahoo taco plate, shrimp tacos, and carnitas tacos. All were delicious! Their chips and salsa alone are to die for!!! So goooooodddddd!
Friendly wait staff. I judge Mexican restaurants by the salsa and theirs was very good. I had a taco with beans and rice, my husband had quesadilla which have us an opportunity to taste the guacamole as well. All of this was very good. For a sit down restaurant, we were served very quickly in a clean open place with outside dining. The prices were very good also. An inexpensive lunch in less than 30 minutes.
First time to try out this place, service was great but i saw a big red flag when they gave us Pace picante salsa with our chips! Ordered the large menudo but it was smaller then other places small menudo and No flavor no color. Live and learn i guess.
Delicious and creative Mexican-American comfort food. All your favorites, made from fresh ingredients, and no lard. Even pastas and hamburgers make the menu, with south of the border flavors. I enjoyed their "Ancho Chipotle Pollo Tacos" 2 soft tacos filled with tender chicken and chili sauce. I was expecting hot, but enjoyed the fusion of kick, and sweet. Michelada beer drink was just okay, not artfully impressive. The decor both interior and exterior is of multi bright tropical colorful walls. If fact driving down PCH, it stands out like a beacon. Dog friendly patio. Out in the north Morro Bay area. Good service, clean, funky, very enjoyable.
Good Mexican food! The mole sauce on the tamale was good, but spicy. I didn't take a pic of it, because my hubby already took a bite.
We had a good time until we received our bill. It was hand written and the price on each item was more than on the menu. I asked for an printed itemized receipt which was then correct and was exactly $10 cheaper. The prices are very good and we would would have been happy to pay a little more, but feeling that we were trying to be swindled left a bad taste in our mouths.
Well...The food is good but, the customer service has declined over time. Instead of hiring front staff the owner juggles the kitchen/cash register. "Slowly the buttons on the register are pushed"!!! There's no organization in the front lobby, people will cut and shove passed you to get a table. The front host/greeter must be aware of who, how many, and how long. I stood by the front door quietly in a leg cast for 20 minutes while being ignored. Very disappointing.. Kid-friendliness: Sit down & eat your food
Excellent and authentic Mexican food. Usually don't eat Mexican when lat coast but had local reference. We were not disappointed! They were short staffed but everyone was double -timing it and smiles were freely shared. Great place for central coast Mexican food!
