As someone who has come here since I was a child and now bring my own children, I have never had an unpleasant experience here. I have come at all different times and days and you can see the staff is trying their best to provide the best care in a time efficient manner. Providers and nurses always hear my concerns and thoroughly address the issues. I appreciate all the extra tests and precautions they always take when it comes to my children. The nurses are usually so nice and helpful, especially good with making children feel safe and comforted.
Do not go here! I arrived at 1-ish p.m. Had my HIPAA rights violated by the RN that triaged in an area between the lobby and a hall ways where a couple of other patients sat listening to my personal medical information. I also got to hear other patients chief complaints that would be considered sensitive PHI! I am taken to the back to have a quick interaction with the attending physicianmaybe 4 min conversation she orders x-rays I’m back in the lobby another 1.5 hours. Watching people that arrived after me get discharged. While I’m sitting their in pain, Im observing and putting all these pieces together, I realized I had chosen the wrong place to receive medical care, so I walked out! No conclusion to my pain nor my concerns. Will never go back! I’m sure they will send a hefty bill to my insurance and never follow up with me about my results. I’m filing a grievance if I don’t hear back.
My mother went because she has UTI symptoms. They told her she didn't have it. We went to the store to get a test, and she tested positive for a UTI. They did did a few other tests, and during her IV came out and the medicine going through the IV came out and went all over her with blood. She was shouting for help, and no one would come. I hate to hear this happened when all she needed help. So disappointing.
PART 1: Went into the advanced urgent care this morning complaining of nausea, diarrhea, and poor appetite due to being prescribed new psychological medications. I brought this concern up with the team right when I arrived to urgent care. I got all my blood work and urine work done while waiting to be called back. I waited about 3 hours before getting called back which I do not mind because I know there are probably people in there having a worse time than me. I finally got to the back where the nurse had started me on IV fluids and Zofran, but the NP on duty had not come in and told me what was wrong with me even though I suspect its the meds causing this issue which I brought up numerous times. The nurse took good care of me, but not the NP. HER NAME IS MARY ANN SAVORY AND STAY CLEAR OF THIS OLD CRANKY HAG. Mary Ann Savory had only seen me for a total of 3 minutes the whole time I was there. The first instance I saw her she had taken my heart rate and listen to my lung sounds and asked broad questions with no information given back to me. The second time I saw her was when I had already had the fluids given to me and zofran. She stated that I needed a CT in order to rule out any other things. I had told her that i understood her concerns, but that i have had this problem before and was just really worried about not eating and the amount of nausea i had. She completely dismissed those feelings and was set on the CT. It was like talking to a wall. I sat there while the nurse started my second line of fluids and decided that i did not want the CT scan because I was not feeling well and had not taken my psych medication yet. I also explained this to MARY ANN SAVORY. MARY ANN SAVORY said she could not do much for me since I would not get the CT. During all this MARY ANN SAVORY was giving me attitude and showed no compassion because i did not want to stay for the CT. My second round of fluids had finish and the nurse came back in and had asked me if I wanted to go home with anything for my nausea which i stated yes. She went to go grab MARRY ANN SAVORY along with my AMA papers. When they arrived MARRY ANN SAVORY had stated that she could not give me Zofran because i would not do the CT. MARRY ANN SAVORY is the same person who ordered the Zofran for me in the first place when i first got called in. She seemed to be butt hurt because i would not take her medical advice and go get a CT. I came back home with nothing ordered for my nausea and poor appetite and i have not been able to eat for about 2 weeks which i had explained.
Rudest loma linda employees working traige. People are already have a difficult time which is why they need to be in Urgent care in the first place. Attitude and nastiness when trying to ask a question are uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. Clearly this job is not for everyone but it also shouldn't be for just anyone. A small amount of kindness and compassion go a long way.
I got here at around 10:45am got checked in and vitals done. There was about 6 or 7 people so not that busy, the lady who did my vitals was nice and treated me like an individual, I just now finished. It is now 11:52am 2nd time here and had another pleasant visit
If you can avoid this place, DO!! unless you are ready to spend more than six hours. Some of the nurses are really nice and considered but some are soo rude specially if you ask for updates. Their organization is the worst. Moreover, it is very upsetting having someone wait for more than five hours in pain and hearing nurses and staff cracking jokes in the halls. As much as I have respect for first responders, they lack organization and they sure waste time.
We have to start Reporting doctors/PAs to the medical board. Extremely unprofessional due to biased opinions. Refuse to work on people who smoke marijuana and label all issues as pertaining as a marijuana use. Then to emergency room to actually be diagnosed as having a thyroid storm. I’m still in shock how biased opinions affect medical professionalism.
Horrible experience, do not recommend!! Made us wait so long and they didn’t even attend us , we had to leave to an urgent care that actually attended us!!! Before we left we asked the nurse for help & the nurse just told us “ I’m not your nurse “ !! Didn’t even try to get us help ,just ignored us and kept doing his own thing!! That place is horrible !! Won’t ever come back !!
I had a real good experience using Loma Linda urgent care for the first time. The staff were professional. Nurses and Doctor were caring. I don't think I waited longer than 1 hour before being treated. Of course I had chosen to go when the crowd level wasn't so high. I'm just so happy I chose a facility that has 24 hour urgent care.
