In 1996, Brazos Self Storage opened in Bryan, Texas, with 400 state of the art storage units under the ownership and management of Braztex, Inc.. Facilities in Odessa and San Angelo, Texas, opened in 1998 under the name of Lone Star Storage Center, thus giving birth to the Lone Star Storage Centers in Texas. Lone Star Storage Center in Katy, Texas was completed in 2004 and a second storage in Katy, Texas opened 2005. The five facilities consist of over 3,000 units.
