Dr. Monica Martinez, D.D.S.
Dr. Martinez received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU - College of Dentistry. She is a Long Beach native, having graduating from Long Beach High School. She received a Bachelors of Science from Binghamton University in Psycho-Biology and discovered her passion for her life’s calling while interning for Dr. Zweifler during these undergraduate years. Before returning to Dr. Zweifler’s practice as a Dentist, Dr. Martinez completed one year of residency at Stony Brook University – School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Martinez and her husband now live in Oceanside, NY.
Dr. Martinez participated in the NYU College of Dentistry - Global Student Outreach Program where she provided dental care for patients in need in Bhuj, India. Bhuj has a population of more than 130,000 people without an available dentist. In her time there, Monica treated approximately 40 patients a day.
In addition to all standard General Dentistry services, Monica is Invisalign certified and has developed expertise in providing Invisalign treatments.
Dr. Cary Blumenthal, D.D.S.
Cary Blumenthal was enchanted by dentistry at an early age. Cary's father and two uncles are all dentists. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree because Cary and his brother both went into the family business and became dentists.
Dr. Blumenthal received his Bachelor Degree from Binghamton University and attended dental school at New York University. This was followed with a residency in General Dentistry at Miseracordia Hospital in the Bronx.
In 1995 Dr. Blumenthal joined Dr. Zweifler's dental practice. It was a perfect fit. Gentle, calm and caring and kind are just a few words patients have used to describe him. Dr. Blumenthal takes his time and treats all his patients as if they were a family member.
Cary lives in Valley Stream with his wife Donna. They have two sons, Drew and Jake. As a family they enjoy discovering different cultures by traveling abroad.
