Longhorn Fashions was launched by a University of Texas graduate, Tessie Watson, in August 2010. Tessie was always searching for cute burnt orange clothing and accessories, but didn't always have very much luck finding it, especially not in a hurry! She set out to find a solution. Combining her love of the color burnt orange, her love for the talented designers in Austin, and her love for fashion, she produced Longhorn Fashions.

Longhorn Fashions continues to reach out to local designers, as well as national fashion brands, to offer unique burnt orange pieces at affordable prices.

Since the LF audience is a mix of spirited students and young professionals, a strong part of the Longhorn Fashions credo is that wearing your school colors can be done in style and without breaking the bank. Everything is under $100 and most items are under $50!

In 2012 Tessie decided to take her business to the next level by restoring a vintage Airstream trailer and filling it with the stylish inventory. The Airstream was a great way to build the Longhorn Fashions customer base and bring fashion to the fans.

I was looking for a place in Austin where I could bring clients to make custom hats...Longhorn Fashions did not disappoint. The owner made everything super easy and was very accommodating and great at communicating with us. I have done quite a few hat party's there over the past few months and everyone has loved them! Also, did I mention the cute accessories and game day and every day clothes you can buy there? Super fun and would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
Longhorn Fashions has the cutest things for game day for all different ages and styles! It is also super affordable, especially for being so close to campus. I have purchased many dresses for game day and get compliments any time I wear them! I will have to stop by soon because of the cute sweaters that they just got! Love this store!
Longhorn Fashions has the cutest clothes and hats! I especially love the hat bar where there is a wide variety of colors and styles. There are also so many different accessories you can add to the hats. Designing the hats are so much fun, especially during a hat party with friends. You can also get your hat branded and make it more personalized. I love this boutique and always recommend it to my family and friends.
I'm sure the boutique in Austin is amazing...but I'm reviewing my experience from ordering online. I ordered a matching top and skirt online. This was over three weeks ago now...no update as to why it still says under status "awaiting fulfillment"...called the store which wasn't any help as they directed me to Tessie Watson...no response to my email to cancel the order about 5 days ago. In the days of 90% of companies shipping out their goods within days, waiting a month+ for an order to even ship is unacceptable and rude to not let your client know what the deal is. I would consider myself pretty reasonable, but that's not good business.
It was so refreshing to come across such wonderful customer service that was coupled with fabulous products! You cannot beat the atmosphere, people, and prices. Can’t wait to return to Longhorn Fashion!
Longhorn Fashions is, in my opinion, the best choice for all your fuzzy sweater and burnt orange needs! With the best quality and customer service in West Campus, and sometimes a cute baby strolling around the store, Longhorn Fashions is a must-see without breaking the bank. They have everything for hook'em fans, and if you aren't a big burnt orange person, they have plenty of options and cute accessories that are unique and trendy. If you're in the area, or even if its a drive, check it out! A worth it winner!
This store is perfect for UT students; location is so convenient and the clothing selection is always mindful of UT events throughout the year. I've also never shopped at a boutique that had such reasonable prices for such cute stuff. Online ordering is also super easy for those who don't live in west campus! Sad to be graduating this year, but definitely will be ordering game day outfits in the future!
One of my favorite little places to shop! They always have the cutest dresses, rompers, and matching sets. Super affordable! Staff is also really sweet!
I wanted a cute outfit for my ring day, and since I'm a curvy/thicker girl, I usually don't go for dresses. So when I found a cute striped romper on their online store, and saw that the only remaining size was a large? Y'all know I bought that quicker than I thought was humanly possible. I picked it up in store today, and although it is a little bit tight on me, it's an appropriately sized romper that looks GREAT on what my middle school best friend called "child-bearing hips" that have a hard time fitting into most anything, especially rompers. I'm so grateful to have found Longhorn Fashions, and I know for a fact that I will be returning to their store in the future. Thank you guys so much!
I've always adored the jewelry and clothes on the website and was happy to learn that they now have a brick and mortar! They had a trailer, Trendy Trailer, but I guess I missed that memo. I went in today and everybody on the staff was incredibly welcoming and kind! I ended up leaving with a burnt orange scarf and a silver Texas necklace. I wanted a gold one and the owner informed me that they had recalled it because the quality wasn't high enough. She said that she would have a new one to sell this next week that is much better. The fact that she listens to and cares about her customers and was generous enough to alter her inventory to fit their needs is incredible! The prices are a little high, but again, it's a boutique so it's expected. In comparison to other stores like this though, this is a little better. This is an adorable little Longhorn boutique in West Campus with GREAT service! I will definitely be stopping by anytime I need to my Longhorn/burnt orange fix! There are a few things for the nonLonghorn as well, though I'm more of a burnt orange and white girl myself.
