We are a retired couple that loves beautiful furniture. Paul was an IT professional and Bev was in Finance. We have always filled our home with things that we love to look at, believing that our home is a true expression of our personality. Home has to be your 'Happy Place'. We recently moved to Florida and combined households with our Daughter, Son-in-Law and our three Grandchildren. Our love of furniture and our artistic abilities set us in the direction of starting this business. Paul does the mending and cleanup, Bev the painting. We both of course enjoy the 'find'. The whole family works together on the business end. Our Grandchildren are not only learning about painting furniture but the strength of a family working together and making sacrifices to bring a dream to a reality. Grandson Kai thought of the business name as it's our street name. Grandson Evan came up with the slogan, Old is the New New. Mya is our model. My Daughter discovered Annie Sloan Chalk paint. Leave brush strokes you ask? Yes, say the French, accentuate them as though they were grain in the wood. Some days we work on a piece of furniture so feverishly we loose track of time. Our imaginations explode with ideas and we just pass them back and forth. It's wonderful being partners with your best friend. You are never too old to dream a new dream.
