I had to say hello 3x before the ladies working even looked up to do their job. Rude attitude and customer service. The ladies at the front should be ashamed of themselves for offering such horrible service. You do know you serve the public right? Get a new job if you can’t offer quality customer service.
The security guy was so nice and helped us out when we first walked in. Then the lady at the desk had some attitude but got the job done. The next guy at the counter was very kind and helped us with wrapping up our paperwork and held a great conversation and lastly the security guy ran out to give a woman her purse because she forgot it. The men here are so helpful and kind.
My appearance date has been pushed back from March all the way to May. Well now it’s May, today’s my court date, and the court is still closed. Calling the number posted on their door says my court date is still today. What’s a guy to do? I understand that stuff is weird during the COVID pandemic, but how hard is it to update an away message with the correct information?
Probably the most irritating thing about this place is the fact that they do not allow cellphones beyond the entrance. I understand why they do this, I do. Cellphones are a tremendous disturbance and there's always that one person that doesn't silence their cellphones during a jury trial or something. That one person ruins it for everyone. And no outside liquids or food. Okay, I get that. No crumbs because crumbs lead to rodents and other unsavory critters running around. And bringing in soft drinks and other things can lead to sticky messes. But banning water? Come on. If you're stupid enough to try and smuggle in vodka, that's on you. But water? There's no water fountains. How do you expect to talk to the city prosecutor if you've got a wicked case of cottonmouth?
Oh my God. I can't believe I just spent nearly 4 hours here to appear on a ticket. So ridiculous! Hire another prosecutor!! Hire another judge!! Do SOMETHING! 4 hours is insane and unacceptable. If you get a ticket in this city, you better just call out of work the day you have court bc you're gonna spend half your day here! Doesn't help that literally every single person there besides the overworked and overloaded judge and prosecutor are rude as can be. Blows my mind. Obey all the traffic laws and ordinances in this city bc you're gonna be ready to cry by the time you finally get out of court for speeding or whatever it may be. Maybe they should assign court at different times throughout the day. Idk. It's assinine tho. Why does EVERYONE have to show at 9 when the prosecutor doesn't even talk to some people till 10 and 11. Why not stage tickets w 9, 10 and 11 appearance times instead of wasting everyone's day. Whoever decided to do things the way they're currently doing it is an absolute moron.
Slow processing and not very helpful at all. This courthouse is probably one of the worst in the entire state of Colorado. All they want is to suck money from you because they are pieces of trash with no empathy.
They'll take your very last penny, they don't care. They just want more money
The only thing worse than their bait and switch court dates is the palatable hunger for money, ubiquitous within all U.S. court systems these days.
Let's be honest it's a court nobody gonna like it although the DA helped but still meh
