Nicely kept and really quiet RV park. Stayed here while visiting family in Radcliff. Super close to Etown, Radcliff, Ft Knox area. Catch and release pond was super cool. Has a nice little pavilion with a lot of seating and a small playground right next to it. Our site was gravel and mostly level. Will definitely stay again.
My family and I have stayed here twice while visiting family in KY! I cannot say enough about the hospitality of this place. They’re the most helpful owners we have encountered. You can tell they love and take care of the place and their guests. The facilities were very clean and I felt very safe walking around the campsite at night. The location is only a few miles from grocery stores and restaurants.
Came for about 8 weeks, stayed for over a year! Wonderful owners, great rv park with a 17' deep catch and release fishing pond, hiking trails and an open field for whatever. Flying drones-flag football- metal detecting Park is located close to Freeman Park and Kroger and Walmart plus plenty of diners both fast and fancy. Place is nicely kept and they'll even come by and pick up your propane tanks and fill them on sight for you and bring them back and you can pay as you go or run a monthly tab. Mail service, small shop with camping accessories. Did I mention how awesome the owners Jeff and Theresa were?? Threw a great Halloween and Christmas party with door prizes and rv decorating contest!!
Good clean, quiet park. Full hookups. Nice gravel pads. Owners very friendly and helpful. Had to move from a horrible site crossroads rv park and they helped me at the last minute. Definitely would return.
Very nice people. Glad we could get a site for the nite because last one available. Quiet and I like that. Wifi wasn't great. Kept losing the signal.
Wonderful place to stay! The park is so clean and everyone is very friendly. There are a lot of great amenities included. Our dog loved the walking trail and area to play in! We will definitely be back if we end up in the area again. Thanks Jeff and Teresa!
This is an amazing RV Park! The location is perfect, being centrally located in the Fort Knox and Elizabethtown area, it only takes minutes to get to either location. The owners are selective when it comes to their long term residents, and believe me, that is a good thing! They are very kind and welcoming, and keep a sharp eye on their property; definitely not in an overbearing way, they just like things to be in good shape and the park rules to be followed, which again was something I very much appreciated. We stayed there for about 4 months, which was our first time as full time RVers, and it was an extremely quiet, peaceful, and relaxing place to stay. We did our homework on the other area RV parks, and we were very pleased with our decision to stay at Longview RV park. If you can get a booking here, this is the place you want to be in the Fort Knox, and Elizabethtown area!
Upon arrival and getting checked, the retired gentleman in the office was very nice and helpful. The property was very well maintained. It's a small RV park, and I have a very large Super C motorhome that barely fit. I had the only screwed up designated space whereas the electrical connector was on one side, and the water and B-waste and the G-waste were on completely opposite sides from each other. Therefore, we wasn't able to be fully connected. It also created maneuvering issues as well. While I liked the grounds, and the retired gentleman, I recommend that you ask for a site where everything can be utilized for a full hookup, and if you can't be ensured to get a better site, I wouldn't stay. The camp site that I'm referring to is in the very front when you pull directly into the RV park.
Theresa & Jeff are awesome. We love the quietness of this park. The area to walk around & the fishing pond are definite bonuses. We are happy to be able to call this home for the next few years.
We stayed a week July 2nd to 9 2021 in a 44 ft fifthwheel. We had full hookups, 50amp, sewer and water and paid about $40 a night weekly rate. They accept cards but provide a cash discount. The park has both pull through and back in sites. The sites are gravel with grass and drained well in the rain. We had to block our off door side wheels as the site was off level side to side but nothing we couldn’t handle. The sites in the lower end are a little close and the power is on the door side shares a pedestal with our neighbor. The sites further up are setup correctly with utilities on the off door side. We stayed in site 17 Right across from the office which was long enough for our 44 foot fifth wheel. We had a parking space next to our site. The park has showers, a nice laundry and decent WiFi. We were able to get over the air tv and Dish Satellite. You are in the country about a block off the highway so the park is very quiet at night. It has some long term residents and about five mobile homes down below the RV park but the sites are clean and well maintained as are the RV’s parked there. There is not a pool but they have some play equipment for kids and a fishing pond catch and release that is stocked with blue gill, bass and catfish. We used the RV park as a central base point to see Mammoth Cave, Louisville and Fort Knox. We ate at Doc’s BBQ Smoke Shack in Brandenburg about 30 minutes away and at Lee’s Chicken about 15 minutes away. Both were great as we would go back. There are grocery stores Kroger and Walmart a short distance away along with CVS and Walgreens. We enjoyed our stay and have already set a reservation for 2022 to be able to do and see some things we missed. Thanks Jeff and Teresa for a nice park and a great stay.
