Ms. Lopez is a member of the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Orange County Bar Association, the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida and the Florida Justice Association.
Ms. Lopez handles a variety of cases within the personal injury area of law, including motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, insurance disputes, premises liability, products liability, negligent security, and catastrophic accidents. Ms. Lopez also handles matters involving Family Law, including divorce, time-sharing/custody, child support, paternity, domestic violence, modifications of final judgments, including modification of child support/timesharing, and collaborative law.
In 2000, Ms. Lopez received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University, where she was on the Dean's list and was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. Thereafter, Ms. Lopez obtained a scholarship to attend Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. While in law school, Ms. Lopez was appointed as the Legal Community Relations Editor for the Moot Court Honor Society, and she was on the International Law Journal.
In 2003, Ms. Lopez commenced her legal career as an in-house defense attorney for a large insurance company where she focused on first party insurance defense matters, auto negligence, and premises liability lawsuits. In the year 2006, Ms. Lopez decided it was time to work representing those who were injured as a result of the negligence of others. In 2010, Ms. Lopez founded Lopez Law, LLC, as she wanted to continue to be dedicated to providing quality legal representation to the community.
Ms. Lopez has served on the board of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida as the Legal Community Relations Chair. She is actively involved in the Central Florida community and frequently lectures on topics related to Family Law and Domestic Violence.
