We are a highly responsive team of more than 4,800 firefighters, lifeguards, hazardous materials specialists, foresters, helicopter pilots, dozer operators and business professionals working to support our public safety mission to keep the public out of harm’s way. Each day, we provide fire protection and life safety services to more than 3.8 million residents and commercial business customers in the largest county in America. When we’re called into action as members of California Task Force 2, our Urban Search and Rescue Team, we’ll travel around the globe to respond whenever a major disaster strikes.
