Love this park, it's so clean and everyone is so friendly
This has become our go to park to take the little one. Plenty of space, plenty of green areas and two large jungle gyms. The larger one seems to be for ages 5 and up, and the smaller 2 and up, at least that's what I deduced from the posted tags. A decent amount of families show up slightly after 11ish, at least that's what I've noticed so far. This day that I took these pics must have been just before the "rush" because it was fairly empty.
It could be really relaxing if it was not so close to the noise and bustle of Highway 405? Well you can’t change the location. Family still like to come here for the playground and all the big trees and green lawn
Nice wholesome picnic grounds, family friendly, dog friendly with owners that meet and greet, well kept clean park. Only park I've seen where all the trash bins haven't been over flowing or maybe I've never been there when they were, lol. Serene/Set in a quiet residential area. Concert in the park here is wonderful. Its a place to relax while listening to the orchestra and enjoy friends while taking a hidden sip of wine. Concerts in the park here is Wednesdays at 6:00 or 6:30.
First time here. My kids loved it lots of grass and great children equipment
This park is nice secured always patrolled. If your lucky you will get to see the beautiful horses walking around for their daily stroll. Coo place to bbq they already have grills set up for visitors which is awesome!
Smaller park in Virginia Country Club area of Long Beach Very Tony area. Is on the side of a hill so the walk is more challenging than most parks here in Long Beach. Lots of large picnics, lots of outdoor weddings and friendly people. Dog friendly. Hosts weekly LB Municipal Band concerts in July early evenings on Wednesday. Playground equipment was just completely replaced and is state of the art
I was working on a film at this park. The area surrounding the park was beautiful, very nice homes and very quite peaceful neighborhood. Great park to have a picnic. Restrooms: The restrooms were cleaner than most park restrooms. I was very impressed.
What a beautiful park. We recently moved to the area and this park has become our all time favorite. The people are super friendly. There are also tennis courts.
