Beware that this establishment charges more for food then their posted prices on their menu....that is my only issue. Food is great and so is the service. There excuse was that they raised there prices in March of this year and they do not have their new menus yet. Four months later...please. They put a note on front of a menu, which you can't read. Still menu did not reflect the increased price changes inside on the items. How would your patrons know if you do not post your new prices...I won't go back only for this reason. They did not address my concern satisfactorily...I paid the inflated price.
We had dinner with friends this past week here. Everyone cleaned their plates. I enjoyed my crispy tacos. They have some of my favorite chips and salsa, with a bonus bean dip. Service was great and super friendly with multiple waiters checking in on us and always having a full water cup.Food: 5/5
Good Mexican food for the area. Like another reviewer, I do agree that prices have risen, but it is still good value. Try their shrimp burrito! Parking: Occasionally, at busy times, you may have to park on the side streets.
I ordered a wet burrito for my lunch to bring back to the office and this is what I received. Horrible, it’s not even damp. There’s more sauce in the container which is not saying much. I do not recommend. I called and was offered refund but I’m hungry. Will not order from here again.
I don't like dropping one star reviews but I'm not sure what happened to this restaurant. Coming here for as long as I can remember and I've been sporadic over the last couple years. The prices have gone up at a ridiculous pace and the quality has not kept up. Got the milanesa and it's the roughest steak I've ever had with a small amount of beans and rice. The soup is supposed to be albondigas but it was all veggies. This was $23. They put it on a huge plate to make you think it's mire food but it's a smaller portion than when it was 13 dollars. I again understand prices are up for evryone but this quality of food for this level of cost is not sustainable for me.
I only get our food to go, so I can not comment on the atmosphere. They have a walk-up window for takeout. The carne asada burrito is huge. Guacamole is fresh. Potato tacos are a big hit.Food: 5/5
Exceptional authentic Mexican food with excellent ambiance Worth the price see photos and menu Vegetarian options: Just say NO meat
Food was pretty bad, used to love coming here to eat, most likely won’t be coming here anymore. Wife was disgusted. Seems as if they take care of their dining customers better than take out customers.
We used to frequent this restaurant all the time before covid. Seems like there's new owners and Cooks. The service sucks. The prices on the menu don't match the prices of the bill. The food isn't like it used to be. I would not waste my time or money going to this restaurant again.
Delicious food and excellent service, I will definitely be going back next time I visit Thousand Oaks.Food: 5/5
