Lost and Found Pharmacy, Inc. is a nonprofit organization with the mission of extending the love of Christ through offerings of quality healthcare to increase the physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being of all.
From the moment the idea for the Lost and Found Pharmacy was conceived, through its fundraising and construction phase, to the opening of its doors, the underlying theme has been to provide medical assistance to the least, the last and the lost. We are a not for profit agency that shares the love of Christ by providing medications needed by our patrons, especially those that may require financial assistance due to the Medicare gap. Since we accept most major health plans, even those individuals who are not on Medicare can join our cause by filling their prescriptions with us. The profit realized from their funded health plans go directly to assisting those in the Medicare Gap.
In addition to fulfilling the pharmaceutical needs to our patrons, we make every effort to assure that their physical, emotional and personal well-being is never compromised. We follow all the guidelines outlined by the Food and Drug Administration as well as other state and federal agencies regarding the procurement, dispensing and sale of any drug. We also monitor any prescription’s possible contraindications with other drugs on file with us in the event of an oversight by the prescribing physician. Finally, in accordance with HIPPA, a patron’s history never goes beyond the walls of the pharmacy where only certain individuals have access to it. Because of this concern for the physical and personal aspect of one’s life, decisions are sometimes made that are contrary to the world view. As difficult as these decisions are, we will always be a “Patron First” pharmacy. We will understand and, if needed, assist anyone with the transfer of their prescriptions to another pharmacy.
