This is one of the main places I like to bring friends and family when they’re in town! Consistently good food, great drinks, good service, and a nice vibe. Always happy to come back! Bonus that most of the tacos are gluten free !
Loteria hits on atmosphere and service, but whiffs on taste. The menu shows variety, but the actual food lacked flavor. The guac needed salt, the pork tacos we got were lackluster, the steak/asada were an improvement, but overall between value and taste, I'd probably not return.
The nachos were more like slop. They used stadium nacho cheese, and the bottom part of the nachos were completely inedible because of how wet and soggy they were. The quesadilla was only one tortilla folded in half and microwaved. Our drinks were extremely small for the $14-15 price tag. I don’t understand the good reviews.
Very cute atmosphere. Delicious drinks and food. Wonderful shrimp tacos. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely dine here again. I love their mango margaritas. Comfortable casual setting.
We had pork mole tamales, vegetarian burrito, salsa totopos. The food was good but the chips are a la carte which made the bill a bit higher than most Mexican restaurants
We went today for some dinner outside. Atmosphere was lovely but the food and service was lacking. We started with the guacamole. It was boring, bland, and cost $9 for a small which I get was the market price for avocados for the day. adding the provided lime helped a bit but onions, cilantro, garlic would have helped more. Our meals over all were absolutely fine, but forgettable and service was over all very slow.
Food was delicious. I've had a ton of Mexican and Spanish food and this place is definitely top 5. Portion sizes and prices were fair. Margaritas were strong but good. Seated indoors and the decor was rustic Mexicana. Bathrooms were private and clean.
This is a really nice place with some solid food and staff. Really enjoyed my tacos and cocktails here. I love the decor, it's very fun and fitting. The tortillas for the tacos are pretty small but they are loaded up with meat and stuff so 2-4 for a person would be good. The prices are a little high for the premium tacos about $7 but very reasonable for the more basic, but still yummy, tacos like the $3 Al Pastor taco which they call "Cerdo" here. You can't go wrong with a cocktail either. There's a nice variety of different margaritas as well as Mexican beer Corona, Modelo, etc. They have both inside and outside seating. The staff were all great as well. Definitely recommend this place.
My experience at Lotería wasn't pleasant. It began when I sat down. My chair was covered in water and I didn't realize it. To be clear, it was indoor dining. The staff was slow to take my order, bring out the food, bring the check, etc. They don't even offer complimentary tortilla chips. Food isn't bad, but not great either.
Loved the food and the ambience colorful decor, upbeat Mexican music, tasty food! What more can one ask for on a Sunday! Has lots of good vegetarian options. Will definitely be back again!
