Picked up a heavy load in the area and went here to scale. If you are a numbers connoisseur like I am, and use CAT scales you probably wondered where is scale location #1..? Well, this is it- see pic. It's a tight lot, small parking area, bunch of bobtail parked in the entrance way. Outside wasn't bad 11am broad daylight. Can't comment on the inside as I didn't go in.
Didn't attempt to clean the toilet. the floor was dirty also. They never actually MOP the floors. We pay $16 for nasty shower rooms. There must not be ANY type of consequences for giving a customer a nasty shower room... which is an intimate area in which he or she is supposed to trust that it has been cleaned and sanitized for their safety. I noticed more and more loves employees franchise wide have been neglecting the showers since 2020 and its getting worst. The motto should be, "Home of the friendly faces and DIRTY spaces" 9:11 am 11/11/22
Arrived at 3am. Hardee’s is closed, bathrooms are closed for cleaning but no one is cleaning it, customer service is non existent. I was not greeted when I walked in, I had to greet the cashier. There’s a security guard here very eager to fight even tho that’ll get him fired from his minimum wage job. Security guard cannot lay hands on you so be sure to voice your displeasure to him when he kicks you out the bathroom. I would mop the floor with you, Jerome.
Why is it so hard for this Loves to maintain their air hoses? They never work or they’re always shut off. Fuel island filled with parked trucks. A bunch of ride ghetto fabulous people working there. Always something for coffee. Just one of the worst loves truck stops in the area.
Called in a mobile tire repair and was told the ETA was 2.5 hours. They showed up 5.5 hours later and then the tech said his air compressor was not working and he couldn't fix my truck and that it wasnt his problem. Incredibly unprofessional none of my trucks will ever be stopping here again
They said they have T6 5w-40. It took 4 hours and they said they don’t have that oil. We had to use another one. After that they said they don’t have fuel filter. After that they said they don’t accept credit card because they are “SPECIAL” LOVE’s service shop. Non professional and careless workers. Don’t waste your time.
Not a bad place to stop. Better than a place down the road that doesn’t have any bathrooms open.
No different than Speedway or 7/11. Service is ok. But I'd really wish they had everything in stock.
Probably the cleanest Love's I've ever visited. And what surprises me is that it's in Chicago. I don't equate cleanliness with a big city. Friendly and prompt service. My Hardees order didn't come out messed up. They have a CAT Scale here like most Love's do. It's easy to get in and out of here. Although sometimes the exit gets backed up.
Bathrooms and showers are clean, overall a well maintained Travel Center. Truck parking is limited to 86 Legal spaces.
