Hello! My name is Summer Smith; because of my love of animals I have realized two critical things that need to be addressed for a greater quality of life:
1. There is often a lack of attention and exercise in a pet's life because of their owner's busy lifestyle.
2. There can also be emotional and physical stress related to being in a different environment and not having the owner by his/her side. For example, dogie daycare or kennels.
Because of this I have decided to start Love Your Pet.
No matter what breed your dog may be, it is crucial for them to have daily walks to maintain their proper weight, heart rate, and muscle density. Also, exercise has been shown in animals to balance out there mood and reduce hyperactive bad behavior.
• For the individuals who love their dogs but have trouble finding time to tend to their needs I offer daily, weekly, etc. walks on a 30min to hour basis.
• For those who are going on vacation or a business trip and cannot bring their pets with them, I offer at-home sitting.
This decreases the stress of not seeing their owners and eliminates being put into a new environment with many other dogs and the possibility of sickness or aggressive acting out. This is also a good choice for the owner's of breeds not welcomed in these types of facilities.
During pet sitting, I will visit your animal two times a day for a period of one hour each visit involving feeding, petting, playing and walking. I accept pets that need non-injectable medications and I have been certified for Pet CPR and First Aid. Most of my experience has been with the Humane Society and I have been involved with animals since I was a child. I have experience with, dogs, cat's, rabbits, horse's, snakes (& other reptiles), birds, Fish (fresh water & salt water), tarantulas, hamsters (& other rodent's) even a few baby lambs & Cows.
My available hours are 9am- 9pm Monday- Saturday; I look forward to hearing from you.
