Phenomenal guitar!! I am totally in Love!! Everything I hoped for and more!! When Lovie’s says “Minty”, they mean MINTY!! Nice folks!! I have bought quite a few guitars online and, for the most part, they’ve been pretty well packed…but I have NEVER received a guitar as well packed as this one was!!! Unbelievable attention to detail!! Buy from them with confidence!!
I bought a used Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster GT11 from Derek at Lovies Guitars. He was very helpful and spent some time talking with me about some of the specs I was unfamiliar with on this specific model Strat. The guitar arrived safely and was exactly as described in the listing and as Derek had described it on the phone. He gave me a fair price and the guitar action etc. arrived set up the way I asked. I picked up a used custom shop Gibson ES-339 from Derick. It was a 2007 model, the first year it was made. Derek was a great help and the guitar is beautiful. I've taken it around to my band's lead guitarist and he is really impressed. I had a hard time taking it away from him at the end of the evening! I really recommend Derick and Lovies Guitars.
We met Derick in person at his future new shop, he had 5 guitars displayed and ready for me to try out by appointment only for now. I wanted to take them all home with me, ended up taking an outstanding Larrivee 000-60. I still can't believe how magnificent this guitar sounds and feels. I cannot wait till Derick has Lovies Guitars open so I can try out more of the great guitars and potentially take home an amp next time.
I just had the smoothest, most comfortable exchange of ownership of a couple of left-handed guitars that I have experienced in 25 years of chasing my inner "Holy Grail" guitars. The crew at Lovies Guitars were great. I honest to God don't remember talking about money, just guitars. And somehow I ended up with just what I wanted. The Strat vacancy is filled. Lovies Guitars is definitely one of the best businesses I’ve dealt with for any purchase not just guitars. The website is great, with very clear descriptions of all the guitars for sale, along with many, many clear pictures showing all views of the guitars. He carries the finest names and has a fantastic inventory. My first purchase was a Tom Petty signature 12 string Rickenbacker. The prices are very good, and the packing and shipping is the best I’ve ever seen. The guitar was sent immediately, arrived quickly after its cross country trip, and was even better than the description. All the paperwork matched and the guitar literally sings. Since there is a 14 day guarantee which I've never seen anywhere else, I had time to take it to my luthier, who checked it out and certified it perfect. Since then, I have purchased several how many qualifies as several; maybe I can get away with calling it a few??No, several more guitars, including Gibson acoustics, and a six string Rickenbacker. Those all arrived in perfect condition, actually, in new unplayed condition! Every question I asked Derick was quickly and professionally answered. I totally recommend Derick at Lovies Guitars for any purchase. He has been very honest and forthcoming in all transactions, and has really been very conservative in his evaluations of guitar conditions. I look forward to more purchases from this wonderful guitar resource. He’s the best!!
