My friend Ken was the featured artist of the month. I saw lots of amazing peices. I also talked with a really positive and knowledgeable staff. I love the supportive environment and appreciate all the hard work each person puts in to their peices. I can't wait to see more. Call me bias but I think that Ken does the most amazing job paying close attention to details when he makes his 3D replicas of things!
This was my favorite gallery in downtown Charleston. There was work by many artists and in many different styles and mediums. They had sculptures and carved statues, water color and oil paintings. As well as some very detailed model buildings. The person working there was informative and friendly. Great place to visit!
A Variety of Local Artists ..Loved the Daffodile Pulls.
Love the gallery. Pete Rock tables are beautifully designed and built. Loved the art too.
The last time I was in Charleston, SC for one of our annual sisters reunions, visiting with Cousins, Neices, Nephews, and went everywhere to soak up Charleston and see the shops. I bought several of Norma Morris Cable’s art! I love the way she captures God’s works of art on canvases. I miss Charleston. This place has such beauty everywhere you go!
Loved going to this gallery and perusing the several different artists and their mediums. I wanted all the art work.
There are 4 rooms to peruse various artists from the Lowcountry with about 35 artists each with their different mediums & takes on subject matter. It's the oldest artists-owned gallery in Charleston to boot for over 35 years now! The space is open & organized, allowing for each individial's style to speak to you separately while the entire room welcomes you. I quite enjoyed the large metal sculpture-- The Halllejuah Frog, the Great Blue and all the paintings & everything else in between. It was a great treat for the eyes and soul on a hot day and even if you can't afford an original the giclee prints & notecards are a nice way to take a piece home with you!
There's always something new to see. A great collection of artists.
Great local art venue. Knowledgeable kind staff. Always something interesting and new to see or purchase!
The Low Country Artists gallery is one of the most welcoming galleries in town. The artwork is exceptionally great and well displayed!
