I purchased a stove from lowes on 8/28/23. It was delivered with a bent bottom drawer. I let the store know and tried to have them switch out the drawer. That could not be done. I asked if they could pick up the stove and bring another one that was not damaged. They could not do that according to company policy. They would need to pick up the damaged stove and deliver another one several days later leaving us with no way to prepare food for several days. The driver came and decided to leave the stove and pick it up when they delivered the new one. Lowes later told me he did not have authority to do that. I asked them to pick up the stove and I did not want another one. The stove was picked up and then I received a call to let me know they were going to deliver another one. I went to lowes for a 3rd time. I found out that they would not deliver another one but they had already issued a refund in the form of a gift card. The associate informed me that they could not change that and the delivery company is responsible for the gift card. I paid cash! The delivery company could not switch out the stove but can issue gift cards on behalf of Lowes.
I bought a mower and I purchased just the extended warranty. I bought the extended warranty to cover the machine after the manufacturer's warranty expired. A small issue came up one of the tires on the push mower broke. I took it in to get it repaired 3 weeks ago. I heard nothing back the first week. The second week I had to go up there myself to see what was going on and found out that the machine had been returned and the wheel not fixed, all they did was change the oil. And that was something that I did. I had just done that at the beginning of spring. So I speak to the guy over receiving and he asked me to give him over the weekend so I agree. He was supposed to call me on Tuesday and I heard nothing so today Wednesday I called up there and found out that the company that they do the repairs through does not even work on my machine! So my first question is why did you offer an extended warranty on something that wasn't going to be covered? The second question is why did they work on something that they don't work on? And my third is why did they not refund my extended warranty since they did not honor it they kept the money and told me to bug off. I've been doing business with Lowe's for 25 plus years and have never had a situation like this where they will not honor something that they sold to a customer. I'll drive for 45 minutes to go to Home Depot from now on rather than my usual 10 minute drive to Lowe's, they just lost a customer for life . The store is managed by incompetence. Don't waste your time or your money with this store. Answer to your reply: Doing it in the future kinda keeps you get away with NOT HELPING me now, doesn't it? Y'all just lost a LOYAL, LIFETIME customer. Over what?? A $14 part!?
Each and every times I shop here, the employees are always so nice, kind, ready and willing to help. 7/9/22 Visited this store today. Ka'Brianna Wilkerson was very nice and willing to help me find an item I was looking for today. She's a great asset to this store.
Clean store.just wish they had more people working.And I don't like having to che k my self out as a customer you should be talen care.of.not the other way around.
All Lowe's across the nation turn into a time warp, but this location is so bad, it's like hanging out in another dimension. You will not find anyone to help you with anything, whether it's a question in appliances or lumber, everyone is off in their own little world.
The visit this morning was great. We got great after Christmas sales on ceiling fans for the bedrooms. Two guys working on fans originally told me Lowe's no longer carried the fan brand I wanted in stock. However, another seasoned associate went right to the product items, and all ended well.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE AMERICUS LOWES IS NONEXISTANT!!! My husband & I were shopping in the Americus Lowes on Friday afternoon. Two Lowes employees walked by my husband, he said "excuse me I have a question" both employees kept walking totally ignoring him!! What disrespect, those employees do not deserve to have their jobs, definitely need retraining on customer service!! The very least they should have done if they were too busy was respond to him letting him know they would get a clerk to assist him.
I need help with tools. I was looking for a nail gun. I had three guys help out. Then, they looked all over till they found the one. Thank you.
As a contractor, the wait a majority of the time is too long to check out or if you need help loading material. The wood isles are always blocked with carts and other materials
Worst experience ever trying to build some crates for a company. Walked in to buy $4,000 worth of lumber, needed five pieces cut, the two guys working in the back said they could only cut 2 pieces.told me all they're cutting is 2 not anymore. Save yourself some trouble go to a actual lumber company.
