I needed a fridge quick so I bought one and gave the store clerk $100 too much. To my amazement, he brought it back and said I gave him too much. I never thought THAT can happen in today's society. Fridge worked great, and was delivered right on time. I give Lowes the highest rating I can. Good going Lowe's!!!!!
Good selection and good prices. They also give additional discounts to veterans.
Had to use the self checkout... -1 star No other registers were open. The guy scanning items Me was not properly trained and scanned to many of the bulbs I was purchasing. -1 star. The lady at the customer service desk was great. Got the error corrected promptly +1 star and did it with a smile +1 star. If they could find a few more like her and a few less untrained folks life would be great.
I was having trouble finding what I needed in the department of bathroom Faucets and shower Faucets and kitchen faucets. When a very nice man by the name Victor V ask to help me I got everything I needed and he even ask if I wanted to get a lowes card and he signed me up Very helpful employee He even checked me out so I didn't have to wait in line Thank you Victor V
I visited Lowes in Fairview Heights on 07/28/23 and was pleasantly helped above and beyond what I could of asked. I was looking for paint and Terry the flooring manager was very helpful in helping us with all of our needs and helped us to apply for rewards program! As we checked out through self check out Bobby was able to help us apply for a Lowe’s card and used his expertise to save us money. The customer service was impeccable, and I will be happy to shop there again and share the experience with my colleges when needing a friendly place to shop.
A Lowes installer came out to install our screen door. The door didn't come with hinges which Millworks should have known when I special ordered the screen door four months ago so he took my old screen door and the new one back to Lowe's to get hinges. Someone there told him they'd have to return my special-order screen door and order another one and that they couldn't give him hinges. He left my special-order screen door at Lowe's and still has my old screen door. I texted him and told him to come back to reinstall my old screen door. He was supposed to come back that afternoon. I went to Lowe's that night and talked to Bruce, who used to work in Millworks, and Jeni, who works in the flooring section. They gave me the hinges. Jeni called Sergio Garcia and he told her he'd come back the next day between 12-2 pm to install my special-order screen door. At 3 pm the next day, I called him, left a message, and sent him a text message. I called Jeni at your store and she called him as well with no avail. My wife was already in town so she went to Lowes and talked to the store manager. The manager said they’d have to contact the installer, Summit Installations, to reschedule the installation. They came out two weeks later to install our screen door. The door was damaged, and the installer put multiple holes in places that weren’t supposed to have holes! He was even giving my wife attitude and was very unprofessional. We contacted the store manager again who said we’d have to buy another door and find someone to install it or install it ourselves! Once our new door was installed, we could return the damaged screen door. We went back to Lowes three weeks later to return our damaged, special-ordered screen door. We had to wait until we bought the correct door, that should have been recommended to us in the first place, and have my dad come over from Arkansas to help me install it. After the return desk employee finally got off of the phone from answering phone calls to the store we waited for 10 minutes, he told us we had to get manager approval to return it because we were past the 90 day window. The screen door was installed three weeks ago on 4 Aug!!!! I found Tim, who works in Millworks, and he said we'd have to come back to the store tomorrow so the right people would be there to talk to the installer so we could get our money back. DO NOT buy a door from Lowes and have them install it. You can’t make this sh!t up…..unbelievable. I’m NEVER going to shop there again.
Nightmare install process for a simple toilet!!! 1. Require the faucet shutoff be replaced for $31.90 even though you do not need it. 2. Scheduled me without my consent so you have to constantly reschedule -40 min wait on phone. 4. I rescheduled again because they gave me a handyman instead of a plumber for $300! 4. Spamed by Angi/Handi with junk texts. Had to block. 3. Rescheduled me without notice- lost half day from work! 4. Rescheduled me with a licensed plumber finally..from MO. not IL. I have no idea if this guy is licensed to work in IL! DO NOT USE ANY LOWES INSTALL! THIRD TIME HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEIR PROCESS!
Just recently ordered a washer and dryer from Lowe’s. Paid cash to the store, and when the items were delivered, they showed up scratched, and the delivery person/installer went to hook up the dryer cord he stripped the port. They replaced the dryer but when I mentioned the washer and the scratches they offered a 20% discount approx $313 to the total purchase which I felt was adequate considering what Lowe’s sells opened, dented, scratched and repaired appliances for and that it’s all a write off for them anyway. The warehouse could not process the refund because it was in cash and informed us we needed to go back to the store to complete, so we go back the store after the delivery was completed for our refund where they inform us we weren’t getting our 20% of our total purchase back, they don’t know who told us that, but we are now only getting 10% of the washer price back about $88 value and it will be a gift card and that there is nothing else we can do. They gave me a number to call, customer care who eventually connects me to the warehouse because it was essentially their issue to solve and after waiting on hold across two days for about 3 hours and explaining all of this over to multiple people I finally get a manager who promised me she would resolve it all same day and call me back and the call never came. I would never have agreed to this had it been presented upfront, I would have just had them swap out the washer just like they did the dryer. They acted like they were commuted to fixing the issue but just did a bait and switch after the delivery was completed. Shame on me for thinking my business and cash meant anything to Lowe’s. Lost a good customer forever
This would be a great location for a hardware store. 1¼ pcv pipe Is available but no 1¼ dwv fittings. I asked a store associate if I was mistaken and I was astonished at his lack knowledge of anything in that dept. If you dont know. say that. And he used the word tiddilywinks. #NOT A CROUD PLEASER AT THE HARDWARE STORE!
My cousin left their job at Lowe's yesterday , cuz they saw how one of their staff I believe at another store was kept hostage at someone else's residence while trying to make a delivery, and they were trying to leave but was being held inside the residents house, against their will and then because they took a video, they were fired.
