So had to stop in real quick to pick up a few things. The reason for the one star on this is only because as I was coming out of the restroom a older lady that works there in her Lowe’s vest was using bad language. The word she use was ASSH@&ES now I don’t mind this but if I would of had my kids with me I would have been upset. And as a business owner I don’t not want my staff using this language on the floor at work . Very unprofessional and uncalled for. The lady has short hat and I believe glasses but I left the store around 11:15 am today and she was right there bye the self checkout if you want to see who this was. As far as the store like every Lowe’s they have what you need for all your homes needs
Lowes keeps deleting my product review on their website. I ordered a large butcher block for about $350 dollars that came bent from the manufacturer and was damaged more by our friends at FedEx. My In-Laws purchased an LG refrigerator from here. The delivery guys by the name of Roberto and Daniel were fantastic. They were easy to talk with and even thanked us for purchasing from Lowe's. These two worked very fast. Even though we were the last stop for the day, you would think they would be burnout from hauling around such large home appliances all day, but these guys were in and out in minutes. Roberto mentioned they were the quickest guys around, and I can guarantee he was spot-on. Overall, the refrigerator works great, and these two guys worked exceptionally well. Kudos to Roberto and Daniel; keep up the great work!
My immigrant grandparents went to Lowe’s in Maple Grove, MN service to get new countertops & their plumbing fixed. Over the course of the last three to four months, Lowe’s has rain checked & rescheduled multiple times. It’s been over six months now. A couple of weeks ago, the plumbing contractor for Lowe’s came out for the first time & dismantled our kitchen sink & bathroom sink to “fix” the plumbing. The plumbing was disconnected, the countertop guys were supposed to follow right behind him that same day & didn’t show up. Again, it’s been two weeks since. Two weeks without being able to use our sinks, we’ve been using tub water for cooking & washing up. We’ve been washing dishes in the laundry room sink as that’s the only sink that’s connected. The sinks have been dismantled like in the photo for a couple of months. It’s June 7 & supposedly Lowe’s is headed out today. I doubt it, grandparents are hopeful. Someone told me this is actually illegal for contractors to leave a home dismantled like this for this length of time. NO stars for Lowe’s. Ya’ll got my grandparents over here thinking they did something wrong. Update: it’s June 8. Counters were done yesterday. Plumber was supposed to be here at 10 this morning, June 8, it’s 1400 on the dot, no plumber. No water. June 20, Lowe’s emailed & said it’ll take them six weeks, yes, six, to come out & reinstall the backsplash in the restrooms. What a fckn joke. Shame on Lowe’s. *update. We cancelled the backsplash appointment & decided to attempt the project ourselves. Turned out fine. In addition, we cancelled the flooring installation & went with Home Depot. From picking out carpet & wood flooring, consultantation & installation, it took about a month because we couldn’t decide on the flooring. HD affiliates would constantly call to update us on the process & their arrival. They kept in communication unlike Lowe’s. Great job HD!
Staff was available to answer the one question I had, I was able to find the part that I needed for my bathroom. Displays are clear and well laid out between the display pieces and stock location. I also liked that they tend to stock many appliances where are some of the competition you have to wait weeks to get a piece. They also had a wide range of bird feeders and anti squirrel devices. Not sure how effective the anti squirrel devices will be, just due to the nature of squirrels
Terrible installation service. Find better independent installers to contract with. Purchased a dishwasher on Labor Day weekend which was its own disaster. First available install was three weeks out. Stayed home that day waiting for arrival but they never showed and never called. Called Lowe's next day and all they could do is say 'sorry nobody called' next available date is 2 1/2 weeks out. You would think they would expedite the install for us for their mistake, but nope. We paid a premium for installation and that's the service we get? Just buy local next time.
I would like to comment on my experience with associates. I typically like to go to Lowes early in the morning. I enjoy looking at nearly everything in the store. I'm new to home DIY projects. Most of the stuff in that store, I have no idea what it does. I like to look at stuff to get ideas for projects at home as well as all the different tools I may need for that project. I live in Monticello so it's quite a drive for me. I try to make my time worth it. I'm not sure if that sort of thing looks suspicious to employees working the floor. I will say that I've never felt more uncomfortable than I do at Maple Grove Lowe's. I know that theft is an issue at stores like this. I can't tell you how many times I've turned around and had a Lowe's employee looking at me in a suspicious manner. It's hard to explain and it could sound odd altogether. I'm an adult and I know the difference between an employee that is looking to help someone and another who is looking at me suspiciously. I could encounter this any number of times when I visit this store. I will add that I shop regularly at Home Depot, located a few minutes away from my house. My experience there, or any other store that I frequent for that matter, is great. People are friendly, I chat with a couple of employees on a regular basis. I really could go on and on. I would say that every time I visit Lowe's, it's the same experience. I will not go back to Maple Grove Lowe's again.
We bought a washer Nov 3rd. It kept getting delayed. We got it Dec 21st. Installers break drain hose. Say be back tomorrow. Well we work tomorrow. They come 2 days later with the wrong drain hose…. Don’t say when they’ll be coming back. Impossible to get ahold of anyone at the store because no one works anymore. 2 stars because Fred and delivery guys were nice people, but nice doesn’t wash our clothes.
I hate this store I been waiting a year almost for windows to get installed in my home. There installers came out atleast 3x to measure before ordering the windows. Well the day of the install the installers measured before taking the windows off the truck. The installers tells me they sorry they can’t install not 1 window because the installers didn’t measure correctly. I been calling since September and asked for a refund I’ve spoken to over 15 people I’ve been passed back and forth between the store MOD, install department, summit installation and customer care. I’ve even went in person and spoke to 2 different managers who said they will follow up with me and haven’t. I was even told one 1 person left notes and didn’t see any other notes left on the account. Then they tell me they have to charge me 20% fee because the windows was a special order and I signed a contract and the sales person was verbally explaining what I was signing and stated the fee is only applied if I canceled the install after the Windows was already made but just decided I longer wanted them. This is not ok I use to love Lowes even got a credit card through them. Now I closed my account and want my refund to buy windows through another company I have 6 kids and 1 is disabled and even 10 months my house was built 1955 these windows are so old and my kids are freezing so I just put plastic over all the windows to help and brought space heater which shut the power off of running to long or my bill is extremely high. I just want my money back so I can’t get windows to keep out house warm.
