Got a delivery for all brand new appliances. Delivery guys said they couldn't hook up a copper line to the fridge for the water, I said that is fine and I would hook it up later, the delivery was late, 5:10 arrival for a 1-5 time frame, they were there until 6 and l was ok with that and told them the kitchen isn't complete just set it in place. I don't know if anyone touched the shutoff for the water line or just jammed the fridge in that turned the valve but we all left, since this is a remodel, and came back the next morning to a flooded semi finished basement. I called and was told to send pictures. I did and asked if someone from lowes 5 minutes away could come look at the damage. I was told no and that someone would contact me. Did not hear from anyone and went to the store and asked to speak with the store manager.after waiting about 15 minutes I was told she was busy on the floors and couldn't speak with me. If they make things right and repair the damage I will take this post down and put up a 5 star review, or 4 star because the store manager couldn't give me 5 minutes of her time after the delivery guys have caused $1000s in damage. I assume it was an accident for guys working late but as a contractor if I have an accident in a customer's house it's still MY problem.
Bought a new refrigerator to be delivered installed.. explained that I would be out of town on business but I’d have someone there.. they showed up @8:45 & informed my stepson they don’t take doors off old fridge or new ones to get them inside.. they ended up leaving it on my back porch.. Sat AM at the store I was informed by Delivery Mgr they don’t install refrigerators.. an installation is only on something like a dishwasher.. Obviously customer service & satisfaction means nothing to them..
I ordered an oven online and arranged for it to be installed in my home. They told me that it will be installed between 12-4 PM. They never came. I called customer service three times and they all gave me the run around by asking me to call this number and that number. No one knows where my oven is now. And I wasted half a day waiting for them. I will never ever again buy anything from Lowes. Not recommended. Find other stores to purchase your oven.
9 months ago I gave a 4 star review thanks to Joe in appliances and the manager letting me swap out a wrong order. Yesterday, I was there for 2.5 hours! Trying to pick up an appliance I had ordered online but needed sooner than the delivery of the rest of my items. JACOB did a great job with corporate IT department to get this whole thing figured out!. As for corporate LOWEs, it is absolutely ridiculous to take 2.5 hours to get a item I paid for. AND now it is dented, judging from the box condition I kinda wondered. Will be trying to take care of that tomorrow. Employees are 5 stars, this process is terrible.
Horrible customer service at the sore #1795 in Edwardsville IL. If I could give less then one star I would. Ordered a door to be installed. Every time I called to check status was given a run around on when it was to be in. Even after they called the manufacturer and got an ETA she was pretty set on still keep getting pushed off on the date and no seemed to care if or when my door came in. They had my money so they were no longer concerned. Called the store today 11/2 /2022 because the installer reps called as they showed it was delivered. The store just looked in computer and said nope and didn’t go any further to see when or why not there when it was supposed to be. The store manager or assistant of millwork was supposed to look into and call me back but have gotten no response. Poor customer service all around at this particular store. I was a SM for over 20 years and never would have treated my customers this way. I would have listened, apologized, understood frustrations and would have gone out of my way to help when orders weren’t right or received on time. I called the 877 installer number back because door was not delivered. And I got the most friendly helpful gal there. Sorry don’t remember her name she was German though. She first apologized several times and offered to look into where my door was. She just didn’t look in computer and go nope not here and wash her hands of problem. She checked other systems and made calls and got me answers. She has put follow up notes for next week and told me I was welcome to call and check on things. She was amazing and went above and beyond to help as she understood frustration and wanted to ensure I was helped and happy. It’s the little things that go a long way in customer service and she was great. However the people at the store didn’t give two craps about me, my product or making things right at all. It will be a long time if ever before I go back and shop with Lowe’s after this experience
Well 1 gentlemen in the doors section and 1 lady in paint and 1 other person in the building is all that seemed to be helpful and doing there job. I guess the 10 people that we saw in the break room didn’t feel the need to help the customers that sat waiting long periods of time for assistance or to have items brought out to them. It was ridiculous. Very disappointed in how we where treated. We do many projects. Guess homedepot will be our destination from now on.
Went to lowes for a bathroom door install and omg. My nephew was getting this ladies attention because nobody was at the desk. She got rude with my nephew saying why couldn't you come down here and get my attention I'm not always at the desk. Uh rude. He walked off and left because he was not comfortable. Her name is kayden older women. I told her what I wanted she was trying to get me to buy a solid door. Uh I didn't want one I said a 6 panel hallow core door it's for a bathroom in my bedroom. Then I told her there is a slight slant at the top of the frame. Stopped me right there don't know if we can do that. Uh they usbe made me a door before they just had a small gap at the top loved it at a previous house. Then she finally got the measurement setup. But got she had a bad attitude. I'm scared to ever go to lowes to have something done. Things didn't use to be like this. I wonder if it's because me and my nephew have autism I don't know. But I wanted to run out of that store I was so un comfortable.
I ordered stone veneer panels and corners. Some were broken. No one knew if I could order more. Not enough staff who knew what was going on. The inventory listed on the website failed to be accurate. Very disappointed.
I wish to thank the staff at this store for ALL the courtesy they extended me yesterday when I arrived to purchase a mattress. From Miranda, to the young lady in Home Decor, to the young man from Springfield, Illinois who is attending SIU-E. They ALL were very helpful and made my trip worth it. Thank you!!
