Was stopped by officer Brooks for not having my lights on while my wipers were on. I was unable to provide proof of insurance because it was on my iphone and I could not access it. I mailed proof of insurane together with a copy of the warning to the LP Township police within the mandated time frame. The letter was not returned to me. Over 2 weeks later I received a summons from DJ Wenner for not providing proof of insurance. I immediately contacted LP Police with a cc. To DJ Wenner explaining the situation. No response from either entity. Today, 6/2/22 I received a summary trial notice for 8/22/22. If this is resolved by the LP prior to the trial date I’ll consider amending this review but so far I give one star.
"We" are 3 senior ladies who were attending an event at the Farm Complex March 2-5. We had traveled to Harrisburg from Virginia After badly attempting a "safe and legal U turn" as directed by our GPS, Officer Brady pulled us to the side of the road. It was late at night, and we were somewhat lost while trying to get back to our hotel after a late supper and other errand. I noticed Officer behind me just before his lights came on. I feel like he waited until there was a safe place to pull over before he put on the lights. He was Very Professional and polite, carefully indentified himself which made us more comfortable. He had noted my U turn which had not turned out as I hoped. He was very nice and helpful to us although I found it hard to get around your area efficiently. It gave us a positive impression of your area and I think you are doing a good job with the training of your officers. Susan Sipes, Harrisonburg, Virginia.
I resided in Williamsburg Estates and had a stalker, was told by management to contact the police so I did. The officer that took my report basically told me that I should confront the person and tell him to stop he did not hear or acknowledge my fear of this person. I understand that there is a proper protocol that needs to be done before stalking charges are pressed, but what if the victim is scared for her life and has reasons to believe that person is an organized criminal/ will retaliate?
I wish I would have taken a picture, but I saw an amazing show of help this morning. I live on Grove Rd, and an officer was helping my neighbor shovel her drive way after we had all been plowed in by the plow trucks... This was awesome!!! We have great officers in our township.....
I had an interaction with Officer Elezovic today. He was instructive, firm, very clear and professional. I have always been a supporter of our police and other first responders, and this officer is a fine example of law enforcement and a good representative for Lower Paxton Township.
Had an officer illegally storm into our backyard without a warrant to scold us about legal fireworks before 10pm. He was extremely disrespectful and harassed me. I felt violated and abused. He was ignorant about the the laws and showed no respect for law abiding citizens. Extremely disappointed in the law enforcement in this area. Absolutely inappropriate and an abuse of power.
Officers Egli and Ryder are both doing a great job in the township, but the traffic patterns and traffic signage are very hard to understand making it difficult to get around the neighborhood without committing silly infractions. Also I would wish to see more police patrol cars at night .
Literally watched them pull over 5 people within a 25 minute window on the same section of the ramp . They manufacture and generate tickets for revenue. I guess they must need to hit their fiscal numbers ..
These "men" are cowardly pond scum. They're not keeping the community safe, they're manufacturing crime and harassing the last of us hard working tax paying citizens left. NEVER TALK TO THE POLICE.
This is the best Police Department in all of Harrisburg. I appreciate all of the officers for all of there hard work and everything they do each and every single day.
