The gym is the best. We are a big family. Love it
Went in for the first time today as a "Silver Sneakers" member to see about joining the fitness center. My wife and I were met by a lovely receptionist named Bobby who was exceptionally helpful and had us signed up and on a tour of the facility in no time at all. Our tour was conducted by a very nice young man named Shannon. The facility is large with 3 pools a weight room a spin class room, basketball courts, locker rooms with dry saunas, a classroom where they hold various classes. I was impressed with the facility so if you live in Texas City and are looking a new place to work out, check them out.
Gave a free tour and very reasonable prices for yearly subscription, would highly recommend for residents of Texas City
I haven't utilized everything available here, but the natatorium pool is great. Each time I visit everything seems well maintained and clean, and the staff are helpful and friendly.
I had a great time using and learning how to operate the different machines. The staff was very helpful.
Great staff. Due to the pandemic the fitness center still requires mask and social distance. So, some of the machines are blocked off and I'm glad they still have a few exercise classes. And gym is open to walk around.
I love love love this place . I work out at least 5 times a week . First of all the price is $ 125 a year for an adult who lives in texas city. Seniors who live in Texas City only $ 60 a year . The classes are amazing with great teachers . The Lowery Center has everything from treadmills to weights. It has a ratchet ball room and a swimming pool that has classes . You can also just swim . The people who work there are super helpful.
Can't be beat for the price.
Nice overall facility with a reasonable annual membership fee. Has 2 indoor pools, one heated and one not. Two full length basketball courts, the floors are not hardwood though more of vinyl composition. The weight room doesn't have a traditional bench press with barbell. There is actually no free barbells in the weight room. Only one Smith machine. Dumbbells up to 100lbs and at least two multi-position benches. I don't think there is a preacher curl on the free weights but in the circuit machines there is. There is a cable crossover machine and an assortment of circuit machines. Also a significant amount of cardio options. Outside are tennis courts.
