Whether you are a complete novice, a weekend racer or endeavoring to make racing your career, our 20 car stable along with our world-class instructors provide the necessary tools to reach your goals.
To be successful, today’s racer requires more than just learning the basic mechanics of driving the car. They must be able to “Recognize and Communicate” what their car is doing. They must have availability to their racecar’s data and learn to interpret and analyze that data.
Lucas Oil School of Racing provides you with today’s racecars with today’s tools to make you a better racecar driver.
Training Events
Basic 2-Day ($2,999) – The first step in your driver development program. Two eight-hour days of instruction combined with 5 hours of on-track time get you acclimated with the art and science of driving a modern race car, and you’ll go home with an SD card with in-car video from your on-track sessions. Available at many popular tracks around the country, successful completion of a Basic 2-Day program qualifies you for a provisional SCCA Regional Competition License.
Advanced Lapping ($2,999) – After your Basic 2-Day, the next step in your driver development is more seat time and an introduction to the data that is all-important in modern motorsports. Three 30-minute sessions on track, combined with coaching from our professional, race proven instructors, and one-on-one data debriefing, help you find those elusive last few tenths, and prepare you for the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series, or wherever your career takes you.
Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series ($6,499) – Take the next step in your driver development program. We handle everything from logistics and car setup to coaching and hospitality. All you have to do is show up, climb in, and race. The Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series provides the convenience and level playing field that only arrive-and-drive racing can deliver. Each two-day Race Weekend consists of 30-minute practice and 30-minute qualifying sessions, and 30-minute race.
