On the campus of William Carey University, Hattiesburg, Mississippi
Exhibits works by Regional artists
Houses collections of artwork from local collectors.
The Lucile Parker Gallery is named for the late professor of art who founded the William Carey Department of Art and whose watercolor works brought national acclaim to the university.
Since 1990, the gallery has hosted exhibits of local, state, and nationally recognized artists.
The gallery serves a three-fold purpose:
• give students the experience of viewing original works of art
• support regional artists by showcasing their work to the community
• honor the life and work of Miss Parker
We hope to see you at our upcoming receptions.
