Lucky 13

What a great experience! Now I know what all the hype is about! When we got there we were greeted by Mercedes and Alex. These two smiling individuals seemed just as happy to see us, as we were to see them. Remember, you must have a valid ID, 21 and older, to enter. We were then seated; we chose to be seated on the outside patio...perfect day for it too. We were given our menus and welcomed by our wonderfully bubbly, and patient server, Sheila! Trust me, when our group gets together, you need patience...lol. We ordered drinks, water, and creamed cheese stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon for starters, which cake with a delicious pairing of dipping sauce. Next we ordered our meals; Firehouse burgers, garlic and basil burger Breath Enhancer, Ring-of-Fire burger, and the Pigpen burger; all with sides of your choice...we did different varieties of fries. We even bought their T-shirts. This is a "must try" establishment on my list of places to go to!

I had a lot of fun here. I read another review about the host on the door, and to be honest I thought they were a bit hostile at first, but when half our group turns up without proper ID having to go back to the hotel, some with all their bags, and we're there without a booking, I wonder how many times over he has to deal with that and be patient. I felt his pain. I just wanted to eat. Got in and were seated at a central high table with a good view of the screens, looked for some of the food challenges wall of fame, browsed the beers, opted for a hearty big burger I think the Pig Pen? with a bunch of sides and some local cans. I think I was still reeling from the antics of the night before as the burger seemed huge but not out of scope of what I'd normally put away. Delicious though - I like my burgers a little less well done, but it was hearty, heavy and indulgent. Glad I didn't go for the Ring of Fire - one of the group got it and struggled completely. Not for the faint hearted. Worth a visit for sure.

Celestial Burger was just ok. I wish we would have tried the Stinky burger which has a tractor sauce but when I asked our server what was in the tractor sauce all the she could say was it’s mayo-based. Their PB burger is really good. The garlic rosemary fries were delicious and had chunks of garlic. Usually love this spot but the burger today just wasn’t up to par.

We had to make a trip out to the city for a dr appt. We stopped by Lucky 13 on the recommendation of 1 of the nurses. Absolutely phenomenal!! The burgers are huge, tasty and very flavorful. Our server was outstanding!!! The drinks were super cold and delicious. I highly recommend swinging in.Food: 5/5

Overall: amazing burger, negative interaction to get seated Pros: burger was everything and then some; juicy and flavorful. Fries were also great. Also very reasonable pricing. Cons: the male host, who works around 11am, should either be trained on how to kindly enforce policy or be fired. We arrive and he immediately makes snarky comments about being travelers with baggage to another bystander. Then? He states that we are not going anywhere until we discard or do away with our water bottles and sports drink. Seriously? Okay so we place those in our bags. Then as he escorts us to the patio, he notices that the 80 year old member of our party has a 75% empty water bottle in the side pocket of his backpack as we walk to the patio. He immediately stops us and says “you are not going anywhere until you discard this remaining water bottle.” it wasn’t just what he said, it was how he said it. This guy has a total ego trip, almost like he was bullied his entire life, and this is his anger spewing. We stood there, awkwardly, wondering if this guy was about to spew flames out his ears, all over a stupid water bottle in an 80 year old man’s backpack. Nonetheless, we finished off the water in the bottle went to our table and had a burger. As amazing as the burger is, I will not return. Why? Today going to a restaurant for a meal is about the customer experience. While the food here was fantastic, The level of service and negative interaction with your host will prevent me from ever returning until it is addressed.

I’ve been to Lucky 13 several times. I don’t drink, I just love their burgers and fries. My favorite is the Bacon Stinky Burger. If you like blue cheese, then you’ll need to try this one. Their fries are always hot and crispy and the fry is sauce is so dang good.Food: 5/5

Nice vibe, employees are kind and their burgers are amazing!! We had to wait outside in the cold for 20 min but it was worth the wait. Everything in the burger was fresh and the fries were delicious as well. It's kind of loud but not to an extreme. I'm not a big fan of burgers but I loved it. The portion is big so if you're not a heavy eater, be prepared to eat. Oh and the parking is kind of bad.

The Ol'Man burger was delicious! Our server was great. We enjoyed eating on the patio near the misting machine. Parking is difficult but the food is worth the trouble.Food: 5/5

Great place to get a hardy meal after a few drinks. Absolutely love the service here. Everyone is super nice and very attentive. Atmosphere is relaxed and the patio is where it's at on a hot day especially with the mist machine going. A true classic and everyone should go here at least once! Honestly, iconic.Food: 5/5

Best garlic burger in town! Rosemary garlic fries to top it off. Made with a pink center so make sure you ask for a more well done patty if you want. It is a bar so bring your ID. Great service. Fun atmosphere, bar atmosphere. Parking is kinda tight. Highly recommended.Recommended dishesBreath Enhancer
