Firstly, I encountered an issue with the front desk attendant. Despite my attempts to explain that my nationality is Taiwanese, the attendant insisted on recording my nationality as China in the system. This lack of understanding or acknowledgment of the Republic of China being commonly known as Taiwan was disappointing and demonstrated a lack of cultural sensitivity. It is crucial for front desk staff to possess a basic understanding of different nationalities and treat customers with respect and inclusivity. Furthermore, I would like to bring attention to the condition of the car I rented. The front desk attendant provided me with a vehicle that had visible scratches, and the bumper appeared to be slightly misaligned. When I raised my concerns, the attendant assured me that it was considered normal wear and tear. However, upon returning the car to JFK, the staff informed me that the scratches and the bumper misalignment would be noted, and there was a possibility of being charged for the damage. This inconsistency in the assessment of the car's condition raises concerns about the accuracy and transparency of your car rental services. In conclusion, I am disappointed with the lack of cultural understanding and professionalism demonstrated by your front desk attendant. Additionally, the discrepancy between the attendant's assurance regarding the car's condition and the subsequent assessment upon return has left me feeling dissatisfied and concerned about the transparency of your car rental services.
Be very aware of this place, inspect the vehicle you rented and take videos. A girl who claim she is the manager there very rude call the cops ‍ stating that I threatened her, all because I told her I didn’t wish to speak with her, after she tried to convince me that I was the one made damage to the car. I rented a Black Chevrolet Traverse which had old scuffs and a crack on one of the mirror led light. On returning the vehicle, they told me that is damage, and they have to file claim with insurance. I explained to them I did not hit anything, the same way I received the car is the same way I brought it back. This GIRL very rude literally dragging the guy who was helping me inside, all because I did not say yes I did the damage. If corporate see this this review, am asking, you guys have cameras, right in the area where that car was parked before I take it. Check the camera. Am a 200% sure the crack was on that little led light on the mirror before I take the car. Prove me wrong. As for the lady KAREN YOU GUYS HAVE working there, customer service training would help. And also leave her life at home at home and don’t channel her experience with men to customers.
This is one of the worst of car returns I have ever had. I would not want to rent from this place. The young lady manager needs more experience in customer service. If you rent from this place, please make sure you video the car inside and out, from the trunk to the side view mirrors. Make sure you get every ding and scratch that is on the vehicle right it down and make them sign. Men make sure you record your conversations with the manager. She will call the police and say she feels threatened. It seems as if this rental place does not write or mark on paper if there's marks on the vehicle that they rent, you must video. It's now up to you. I guess they don't want a paper trail.
Maurice was extremely professional and personable. He knows his stuff.! We rented a Cadillac SUV. Car was clean and well prepared at the time of acceptance.
This location hosts some of the best staff I've ever dealt with at any enterprise location. When making a reservation, try to do it as early as possible because things get booked super quick here and they over book as well, but in my case they still made sure I got my rental on time. Also they have great weekend rates so be sure to ask about them!!! A must if you need a car and you are in the area, they also can pick you up from anywhere and drop you off when you are all done.
Highly Recommended Car Rental in the Area. This is my go-to back-up ride company when i need it. I recently had an unfortunate fender bender and had to get my vehicle repaired. An ENTERPRISE representative picked me up from the body shop and took me to their rental facility. Their location was clean, sanitized and their staff was professional. All options were explained in great detail about the rental. Afterwards, everything was explained about the vehicle and a physical inspection was done for cleanliness and damage before releasing it to me. In regards to returning the vehicle, all I had to do was leave it at the body shop. I do recommend ENTERPRISE.
Rented a small pickup which was ready when I needed it to be. Vehicle was clean and had gas, made it easy to hit the road. Chris was very helpful and the entire Staff was polite both on the phone and in the office. Will definitely use this location again. Happy renter :
First time renting a car and I had a smooth experience overall. Nick is quite knowledgeable and good at what he does. He was able to get me in and out while taking the time to thoroughly go through all the information I needed.
I reserved a suv online and put my information 3 days ago or so before my trip. It gave me the option to get a suv at age 22 and even renting online the employee said I can rent out at 22. I get a call from the south Plainfield area asking if I’m going to pay credit or debit and that was it. The day I was supposed to get the car and I was supposed to leave the same day for a trip I give them my info in person just for them to tell me that I can’t rent out a suv at my age even tho you can. And all the cars were already taken. The problem is that I was in a rush to go on a trip the same day and as I was going to pick up the car, they just now tell me I can’t get it. My information online said I was 22 so why did they just figure it out now that I’m not over 25 and why was I told that I cant rent it. They had my number to call me about not being able to rent the call but they didnt. And it’s really unprofessional that they had the time to call me and ask if I’m using credit or debit but can’t tell me I can’t get a suv. Eventually I quickly found another enterprise location the same day and surprisingly!!!!!! They gave me a suv….
