Luebker Vet Clinic

Great receptionist. Didn't get to meet or speak to Veterinarian. I'm accustomed to speaking directly to Dr. I like to know the Dr. treating my fur babies. Rating may have been higher if I had been allowed to go back with my boy.

I have been taking my pets and there have been many to Doctor Luebker since 1985. I have never once been treated with disrespect, by him or any of his staff. I see comments on here saying that. They are friendly, helpful, and will work with you to get what you need done. The prices for treatment and surgery are lower than any place in this town. I appreciate them very much, and hope he will be here many more years.

He is a excellent at what he does, he is direct and informative about my Maxwell's care. I do not know how long he has been in business but I have been taking my dog to him for 3 years now. AND he is not trying to make you take a bank loan out for providing care for your dog.

Prices are reasonable. But the vet is a straight up butt! He was so rude to me today.. Cussing me , I will not be back to him. I understand having a bad day. But you don't take it out on your customers. I'll pay extra money next time at a different animal clinic. Maybe then I'll get treated with some respect.

Our bulldog suffers from skin allergies, we have in the past taken him to Pet Smart to acquire a certain medicine to relieve his itching, only because in the past Dr. Luebker didnt keep it. We asked lady at front desk if they could see our dog and order the medicine for him. She told us yes, so we made appt, showed up this morning and Dr literally laughed at us when we asked him about ordering it for our dog to help him, he said he wouldn't order it. He didn't even offer another course of treatment to help. He actually refused to treat him. This is not my first visit to Dr Luebker, I've been seeing him for over 30 years. Yeah, his bed side manner is not the greatest but he Always took care of my animals. This has really upset me, and I will not go back. We shouldn't have be treated this way, we only wanted help for our baby. I will never recommend him again, may be it's time to retire.

Luebker is now Oak Park Animal Hospital, and they are great.

I have been taking my dog here for the past 4 years. It wasn't up until this year I decided not to ever take my dog back to this office. I was going out of town and my dog was getting boarded there for a couple of days. He was due for his rabies shot and a bordetella. I simply asked if they could wait until I returned from the trip before they injected him with the rabies, offered to pay in advanced because he had a horrible reaction to the last rabies he had and I wanted to be at home with him after that injection. Dr. Luebker and the lady at the front was very rude to me and told me that I could leave and and take my dog with me. I had never experienced a Vet act in such a way. He has very bad bedside manner and can be very rude. I will not be taking my dog back to this office because if they can treat me that way for no reason, I personally do not know how they are treating the animals that are in their care when the owner is not around.

Doctor & staff are very courteous and friendly. I have been using this clinic for almost 9 years and this clinic has met all of our needs. They have gone above and beyond to help me and my family members. I can't say enough good things about them.

Every time I call they can't find me but then they do and I go pick up my dogs flea tick and heartworm medicine for 6 months at a time and usually I have no problem but this go-round when I need to have the medicine there records are incomplete and I have to bring my dog in for a test which obviously they don't have time to do today but won't sell me the medicine that my dog has been on their entire life. Huge inconvenience and now I have to go buy some other kind and hope that it works and hope that it doesn't make my dog sick so my dog is covered.

So Luebker is no longer in bussiness but, the Oak Park Animal Hospital is such a good place. I'm glad to have them as my vet for all my pets.
