I am the mom to 4 fabulous children; ranging from young adult to early teen. My number 1 job is and always will be to be their mom! I LOVE LOVE being a parent. They are my reason for living and make me proud each and every day. They are all four different people and bring their own talents to this world.
I am also a registered nurse, for some 32 years. I have always loved being a nurse -- the helping people. I never really wanted to be anything else. I've done every type of pediatric nursing imaginable - floor, ICU, ER, free standing urgent care and school nursing. I've also worked adult ER, mother infant float pool and taught prenatal classes. Throughout my career, I have always gravitated and enjoyed the bedside nursing. I never aspired to be in management, I want to take care of and give comfort to those who need it.
I discovered Lularoe quite by accident. I kept seeing my daughters cheer coaches in these interesting leggings. Then I saw more and more women at the gym in them. Some were cute, conservative and others were quite colorful :) Then more and more women outside of the gym. I finally decided to try some. I bought leggings and an Irma and didn't try them on for a couple months. I thought to myself, who in the world wants to see an overweight 50ish mom in leggings! So I got a maxi skirt -- loved it. I finally decided to try my leggings on and WOW! They are awesome. Slowly but surely my Lularoe collection started growing. Then I started thinking about joining. I finally decided to join after I had acquired quite the collection because I felt so good in my clothes. It has been a long time since I felt like I looked good in clothes. When my self esteem took a boost, I thought that other women should have that same choice. Cute clothes that they look and feel good in.
