Great place to get breakfast or lunch, especially if you're pressed for time. They have a small counter where you can seat by yourself and get a quick bite to eat, or if you prefer you can seat at a table. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The omelettes and skillets are big enough for two meals. If your meal comes with hashbrowns, get the fresh potatoes instead, they're delicious. The decor is country style and it makes you feel like you're down in Southern states. The service is very good and the staff is friendly. So if you're near O'Hare airport and looking for a good breakfast place, look no further. Kid-friendliness: Lot of kids options. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair accessible parking in front of the entrance.
The service is quick and the waitresses are very nice. The one problem I had was the strong scent of mothballs roaming around. The sweet tea tasted very good. The 2x2x2x2 did not disappoint, the one thing was the pancakes weren't the best I've had, a little hard to cut but they were okay. Overall if the scent of mothballs is taken care of I wouldn't mind trying them again.
Great family breakfast spot. Delicious food to start the day. The potato pancake Benedict is hard not to finish Don't be fooled by the country ham "side" its still city ham Food: 4/5
Affordable price and big portions. Good place to stop by to have a nice brunch before the flight. Enjoyed time here.Recommended dishesScrambled Eggs with Hash Browns and 2 Sausage Patties
I felt like I had walked onto a farm. And as if I was on a vacation in another time. I seriously didn't wanna leave. I found inspiration about a lot of things here. The food was great, the workers are awesome.....and the atmosphere.....welllllll go see for yourself.Food: 5/5
Got stuck at O'Hare thanks to a thunderstorm and wound up at a hotel down the street. Wandered in for breakfast and was absolutely pleased with it. Fast, friendly service. Good, standard breakfast fare, and the best pork sausage I can ever remember eating. Plus the building is painted like a Holstein. How can you not love that?
I love coming here. Restaurant has different cups for coffee- military, friends and many others. I like the oatmeal or the stuffed avocado- chicken or tuna salad, both are great. My husband always has pancakes, sausages, bacon and eggs. Everyone customers and staff are happy and talkative. Definitely a weekend event for me and my family.
Such a nice restaurant. We went on a Sunday and it was super busy but they were very good at managing it. Everything was done in a time manner. They have a big parking lot that they share with other businesses but there were available parking spaces. Staff was very friendly and they had a lot of employees working at the same time. Coffee was delicious. Fun fact was that all of their coffee mugs were different. Food was amazing. Pancakes were fluffy and the biscuits and gravy were creamy and soft. Definitely would recommend this place!
The waitress was nice. Funny to actually. Food was horrible. I ordered the chicken waffle. 1 chicken strip was still raw. Ordered bacon to replace it the bacon was burned and half cooked at the same time. Got some eggs fried hard that I didn’t touch either. I wouldn’t recommend this place!!Food: 1/5
Soooo I eat steak skillets everywhere but I can't have eggs so I ask for more potatoes. Some places allow some don't. I never worry either way. This place while the food was okay to the taste the potatoes they gave was NOT worth $20. Literally this is the first place EVER that I ate a skillet and was still starving. I ate both pieces of my toast and was still starving. The pancakes I saw on my way out looked delicious but they had a lot of stuff on them. I won't return but I would recommend don't do the skillet. Waste of money and you will be hungry
