Staff are great and food is really good. Nice authentic Italian menu. Located across from the Regal movie theater, they will give you a discount when you present your ticket stub from the same day. Only issue is that some of the seating is worn and needs replaced I literally sat in a sunken spot at the booth I was in and the spot next to me was taped closed. But don't let that deter you from giving them a try - just ask to sit at a table instead....or at the bar.
We have very mixed feeling about this place. 1- asked for no ice water, sure thing, the water we got had a lot of ice; 2- asked for a bottle of wine, got 2 glasses of more expensive wine; 3- the appetizer and the main dish were brought at the same time; 4- the food was barely warm; 5 - the bread was hot and delicious; 6- the chicken Marsala and salad were great; 7- the waiter just filled our wine glasses once, and never refilled them. For the lower price point place, I would not complain at all, for the fancy restaraunt they pretend to be... I would expect the better service.
Great pasta! I originally visited their OC location and loved the food. Thought I'd give this one a shot and was pleasantly surprised with the food and staff. Exceptional service with amazing dishes. Will definitely return.
Everything was delicious! Best panna cotta and truffle risotto!
The service is very good. You have to have an early reservation though as it is quieter then. Even the bread basket is phenomenal as the bread is homemade. I had the lasagna and my husband had the chicken parmigiana. His dish ended up being 2 meals. Their desserts are phenomenal. I had the panna cotta, which was delicious and he had the mini creme brule.
The first time I came here, a few years ago, it was delicious. However, this time around, we left disappointed. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived. We were seated in the main dining room. It took a while to get water delivered to us and our server didn't take our drink or food order until we had been seated for over twenty minutes. The server seemed to be rushed. She wasn't rude but she was not welcoming either. She seemed to be distracted the entire time. I ordered the Lattughine Miste salad to start with and it was huge but not very flavorful. I could have made a better salad myself at home for much cheaper. For my entree, I ordered the Piccatina Di Pollo Al Limone, which is Chicken Breast in a lemon caper sauce & served with potatoes plus vegetables. The food was decent but nothing special. The lemon sauce was in need of more flavor and more capers for sure. The potatoes more like breakfast home fries, which was an odd addition to the rest of the meal. Our waitress never checked in on us at all during our 90 minute meal at the table. I flagged down the manager/owner in order to get our bill since we were now waiting for anyone working there to notice us. I inquired about the check-in special featured on their Yelp and after I checked in here, the discount coupon did not appear on my phone. I showed the manager that I was checked in there, and he was a little rude about it and telling me that I "checked in wrong" on the. However, I use Yelp constantly and Yelp check-ins on a regular basis so I know it was not me. The manager didn't seem to want to honor the discount for checking in but after he could tell that I was upset, he gave us the discount anyhow. So, in closing, I would not return here. If it were not for the delicious bread, this last visit would have been completely disappointing.
Excellent dining experience! We were a little unsure because this was located in a mall but boy were we surprised. The eggplant parmesan was delicious. The pizza was so yummy. We are visiting from AZ and just took a chance and it paid off xoxo
Went tonight..early and service was horrible. I wanted pasta instead of veggies and was charged $2.00 for the substitute. The waiter apologized about 20 times for one thing or another. Cannot imagine what it might be like if it was crowded. Would thing twice about returning.
Most delicious, authentic Italian food I've ever had on this part of town. I highly recommend a romantic dinner with the spouse here. Good wine selections too!
Great pizza and the movie ticket discount always bring us here before taking kids to see the new movies. Nice people and food is spot on!
