Family owned and operated since 1934.
Lupinski Funeral Home, Inc., is a family owned and operated business located in close proximity to I-91, I-95 and Downtown New Haven. The building includes an arrangement office, lounge and a spacious chapel to gather with family and friends. The funeral home is handicap accessible and offers off street parking.
Francis and Tesse Uzarski Lupinski began working in the funeral business in 1934 and had 3 children together. After Frank left the family in 1948, Tesse turned to Frank M. Beisler, a funeral director and friend who mentored her. Soon after Tesse became the first licensed female funeral director in Connecticut. In 1971 her daughter Lucille obtained her license and took over operations of the business in 1976 after Tesse retired. Like her mother Lucille was resilient and raised her daughter, Angeline. In 1994 Angie became a licensed funeral director and embalmer. She took over the business after Lucille's death in 2013.
As a third generation director, Angie carries on the tradition of providing quality, caring and compassionate support to her families like her mother and grandmother did before her.
