Very friendly staff called me to let me know about a cancellation so I could come in early. When I got here I didn’t have all my insurance information and they had no problem looking it up with the little information I could give them. I have been to plenty of good Dentist even in this town but I have never been given a shot in the top front of my mouth without feeling it until Dr. Shay Lykins.

They squeezed me in with tooth pain, saw me same day, got me an appointment with an oral surgeon same day…took amazing care of me - thank you!!

The staff were able to move my appointment twice due to my request and my schedule changes and got me in effortlessly. Dr. Lykins is always so gentle with me and very friendly,  as is all her staff. My whole family goes here and she is even great with my five year old son. He has no fear of dentists due to this practice.

Going to the dentist is not on my top 100 things I like to do. But my experiences at Lykins Family Dentistry have been excellent.  Everyone is very friendly and caring. You almost forget you are at the dentist. When it is time for my next visit, i will not be dreading it as i have over the past decades with other dentists.  Thanks Dr.s and staff!!

Dr Lykins and her staff are great!  Courteous and kind!  Efficient and well trained!  You know you are going to be well taken care of from the start of each visit!  So glad they we recommended to my husband an me when we moved to Ellijay!  Dr Lykins is a friendly caring lady!  You’re never rushed and feel like you’re her only patient!  You’re the priority when you’re in her hands!

I highly recommend Lykins Family Dentistry. Everyone is friendly and professional. Jenn cleaned my teeth yesterday. She always does a great job and makes me feel comfortable during the procedure. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I changed my rating from a 5 over a year ago to a 1 because the women at the front desk are rude. Dr Lykins and all the staff working in the back are wonderful .. if you can get an appointment from the women at the front desk that do the scheduling. I found another dentist the next day to pull my abscessed tooth with more caring staff.

My first visit as we are new to Ellijay. I have had my teeth cleaned regularly every 4 months but they haven't been clean this thoroughly in years. Jody did a great job and I enjoyed meeting Dr. Lykins. The entire experience was perfect except for my getting lost but that was my fault. I know I've found my new dental group.

I have been going to  Lykins Family Dentistry for about 2 years now. I previously lived in Florida.  Switching to a new Dentist after going to the same one for 30 years is a scary experience to say the least. I have been extremely happy with the services and care I am receiving at Lykins. It has been easy to get an appointment, great dental hygienist, and wonderful care with my Dentist. I would highly recommend this Dentistry to anyone ready to start with someone new.

I absolutely hate going to the dentist. In fact I haven't been in 10 years. Today was my first appointment. I was extremely nervous but SO happy I went with Lykins Family Dentistry. Everyone was amazing, I have a terrible gag reflect and the were very accommodating with a few tips and tricks to get my xrays over and done with. I got a cleaning while I was there as well AND the oral hygienist was so sweet. I'm terrible with names but I think her name is Judy. I wouldn't want to go to anyone else. First impressions are everything and they blew it out of the water. Speaking of water you do get a wonderful view of the river while you wait in the chair with large glass windows to accommodate the beautiful view. Also they were very forward with how much my next visit with fillings and co-pay would be and I really like that. I like knowing how much my next visit will be. In conclusion if you're looking for a dentist trust Lykins with your dental needs. I was very happy with my visit and will be back.
