Lynae's Paw Spa is a full service dog grooming shop. My goal is for your fur baby to enjoy the experience of being groomed by using treats, praise, and play.
My passion for animals started at the young age of four. It was obvious to my family I would grow up and care for animals. I started working at a vet clinic at the age of 15. I thoroughly loved my job, but needed to experience more. After working at the clinic for 5 years, I started my next journey in retail where I was educated on pet products, reptile, small mammal, and avian care, and created relationships within the industry. It was during my retail experience I became interested in dog grooming. I began a new job working at a dog daycare where there was a need for a groomer. I went though an apprenticeship with a local groomer and instantly fell in love with the care I was providing. The grooming process can be very invasive, but also enjoyable; making a dog feel comfortable and rewarded during the grooming process makes all the difference. Years later I'm rewarded everyday when my clients come back excited and compliant for their groom.
