By far the most generous library in the area. You can get > $7 free printing credit A WEEK. As someone who is an activist for the homeless, this is AMAZING for them to print their resume. Love, love, love. Thank you for investing in the community. > 15 Kanopy movies a month. Wow! Very generous! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Got all my Ukrainian film research down in one month. > $0.10 paperbacks on books they are reselling; I got some FANTASTIC books, pretty much like new, for such a fantastic price, and on trust to boot! > No security guard at the front to make it militant and ruin the mood of generosity; at worst a friendly community advocate trying to out someone corrupt or a Covid-19 giveaway showing they get the root causes of such things. 100% there > Very fashionable bag specific to the library. It looks great and matches my other bag. Honestly love it. > Adult N95 masks 1 per person > Alway have local content on display > Resources for homeless abound; homeless feel comfortable here and are even having fun. SO glad to see them actually feel safe. Regulating the nervous system is the first step. > WONDERFUL librarians; immediately ordered me new books on working with people with severe mental disability because there were little to none available at the time. > Funny head librarian. Likes to say "we may be a library but what do we know" > Space astronaut design. > Giraffe bookmarks. > Community resources first thing you see when you walk in. > Clearly VERY popular, can never find a seat in the hermit corners! Librarian even said, "People are checking out books more than ever!" Well they deserve it. > Did I mention the 300 book limit??! Would give this 10/5 stars if I could!! Best library I've been to in a minute in terms of generosity and "Getting it" when it comes to truly impacting the community in the positive! Now help the police across the street to get it lol
The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the library is clean and well-kept. Lots of comfortable seating in the children’s areas. Checking out is a breeze and staff doesn’t complain of you don’t have your card and use your license instead. Parking is not always great, but a small price to pay. We love our Lynnwood Library!
I asked a male employee at the entrance about an "Account error" issue, but he was extremely rude and made me feel stupid by ignoring my limited English proficiency as a foreigner. In contrast, he was very friendly to the American customer behind me. This made me upset.
We love coming to this branch! The staff is super nice & go out of their way to assist. Thank you for making our visits a pleasure!
The best place for reading and spending time
Great library with some good selection of books. Children area is quite big too with plenty sit and read spots. And they have a nice little aquarium near the entrance
Extensive library with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Also offers free tax preparation for seniors, students and low income via their AARP TaxAide program.
My home away from home. Good selection of materials at this library. Friendly and helpful staff. Like to bring a book and curl up in one of the chairs in back.
Spacious with different types of seating areas, nice staff, helpful services, and good programs.
The layout is very good and the aisles are clearly labeled, so I was able to find exactly what I wanted. Staff are very helpful.
