Macaron Queen

About

Winner best desserts Two years on a row. A French Macaron and Pastry boutique and Champagne Bar in Perimeter and NorthPoint Malls (Lenox now closed)

Description

Having studied the art of French Pastry Baking in Paris, Macaron Queen is now on the fast track to becoming the top pastry chef in the market. What started out as a personal passion to make delectable treasures for close friends and family, Macaron Queen quickly found herself making these treats for private celebrity parties, fashion spreads, music videos, and movie sets.

A passion for evolving French pastries is what makes Macaron Queen's treats so unique, and her creations so irresitable. After developing a recipe for (literally) the best French macaron (on the planet), she now has a considerable following of fans- always begging for more of those "guilt-free slices of heaven!"

Although the macaron is already much lighter in calories than its counterparts, Macaron Queen began customizing her macaron recipe to significantly reduce the calories, fat, and sugar- without compromising taste at all. Macaron Queen says, "I pride myself in looking at people's faces when they eat something and love it so much that I can say, it's ok have another one!"

Macaron Queen's menu varies from individual desserts, cakes, Macarons, parfaits, and cookies- all with the finest ingredients and exquisite taste.

Tradition of Perfection

Although predominantly a French confection, there has been much debate about its origins. Larousse Gastronomique cites the macaron as being created in 1791 in a convent near Cormery. Some have traced its French debut back to the arrival of Catherine de' Medici's Italian pastry chefs whom she brought with her in 1533 upon marrying Henry II of France.

In the 1830s, macarons were served two-by-two with the addition of jams, liqueurs, and spices. Italian Jews later adopted the cookie because it has no flour or leavening and can be enjoyed during the eight-day observation of Passover. It was introduced to other European Jews and became popular as a year-round sweet.

What is a Macaron?

A French macaron is a confectionery whose name is derived from an Italian word “maccarone” meaning paste. It is meringue-based: made from a mixture of egg whites, almond flour, and both granulated and confectionery sugar.

Products

Authentic French macarons, cakes, parfaits, cookies, individual desserts and candies- all with the finest ingredients and exquisite taste.

I recently placed an order with Macaron Queen and, unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Despite paying for upgraded shipping, my macaroons arrived warm, a significant letdown as the temperature can affect the texture and taste. Quality control seemed to be an issue. Some of the macaroons were noticeably smaller than others, lacked consistent shape, and some were even smashed, suggesting poor handling or packaging. Presentation is key with a delicate treat like macaroons, and this inconsistency in size and shape was underwhelming. The greatest disappointment was the taste. A good macaroon should be a delicate balance of crispy exterior and soft, slightly chewy interior, but these tasted dry and stale. The lack of freshness was all too apparent and seriously impacted my enjoyment of the macaroons. Overall, my order from Macaron Queen was a letdown. I was expecting premium quality given the price point, and what I received fell short of the mark. I hope the company takes this feedback into account and improves these areas for future customers.
I don’t know the name of the gentleman handing out samples in Clarksville Ga at the bowling alley last evening Friday night but he was very professional and kind and charming and the macarons were so good I didn’t even share them with my family later that night. I ate them all. 11/10 on God
I first discovered Macaron Queen when it was in Lenox Mall so I was delighted to see them open up closer to me! I have never experienced the refrigerated taste others have. I made a stop by here yesterday pretty close to closing time and my macarons were pretty fresh. Yes their macarons have a lot of filling that may be too whipped but stick them in the fridge and they will be fine. I have yet to eat a flavor I did not like. They are pretty pricey but standard with other macaron pricing. I got the 6 pack which I believe was $12.50. The only thing I wished was there was a box for the 6 pack. The bag is a little lackluster when giving them as a gift.
I ordered macarons online and ate 2 as soon as I opened the box! They are so delicious! I was pleasantly surprised that my shipment came super early. I didn’t think I would get them in time for New Years but they came today Dec 31st. When I placed my order I called customer service and the lady I talked to was very sweet, she informed me that because I placed my order on Dec 27 my order will be shipped Monday Jan 3rd because I chose build a box, and that was totally fine with me, but then the next day I got an alert that my order has been shipped . I’m so happy with my order and will be treating my self again. Also the packaging is absolutely gorgeous, definitely gift worthy
We used Macaron Queen for our daughter's wedding reception. There were a few minor glitches because of timing but Melanie went above and beyond - TWICE - to work with us and we could not have been happier. Her customer service skills are exceptional and we are very appreciative. The Macarons are definitely the best you can buy! We loved all of the flavors!
They’re okay, but don’t taste as fresh and delicate as they used to years ago. Lemon one was AWFUL, it tasted very artificial and oily. I paid $17 for 5 which was pretty pricey, don’t think I’ll ever buy again.
UPDATE: September 26th Way way awesome experience this evening! I decided to give this location another shot as the macarons are amazing. I got there late. Not only did the lady still serve me, she reopened packages to pick the ones I wanted. Great customer service!!! I’ll definitely be back. No one ever responded to my review below: I wish someone would reach out to me. I’ve been in the hospital for over a week and the only thing on my mind has been getting out, and going to Macaroon Queen. First and foremost the girl at the counter was 1/2 asleep. I specifically asked for the most filled Macaroons. Not the ones that have no filling. Because then it’s just two cookies pressed together. I have pictures. Please reach out. I ordered 14 macaroons. I’d really appreciate getting at least 5 replaced as I had to throw away about 4 of them. Due to how hard they were. They tasted stale! Thank you, if there is another way to contact please let me know. I’ve wanted to discuss these for my upcoming wedding anyways. Thanks again, Tab
I ordered off the online store after seeing a post recommending this bakery. I am AMAZED. I love macarons and splurge on them every once in a while. I believe I have found my new go-to bakery. I absolutely adore all the cake texture macarons, but the Red Velvet especially. The Mango White Chocolate was also really good. They make for such a delectable snack after a hard day at work. I highly recommend this place.
Omg simply the BEST macaroons I ever had. I have tried different macaroons from Paris to Brazil, but this place definitely have my heart. Lots of options to choose from. Red velvet is my number one choice always! 100% recommend. Please open a macaron queen in Charlotte NC
I literally drive almost an hour just to come and get these macarons as I refuse to pay the high shipping fee. My absolute favorite is the strawberry cheesecake . My husband likes the red velvet. They are pricey at $3 a piece but totally worth it to me as I keep returning. I hope they stay the same!
