After months of getting pushed off by Guthrie pediatrics Diane was the only one that listened!! My son had acid reflux he was choking and having problems breathing.. I left the office literally crying in relief!! Diane is such an amazing doctor
First off,I've been seeing Diane Reed for 16 years, never have i had a problem until she hired a new receptionist. This lady is very rude to me as soon as she knows its me she gets nasty. I call because I was in a mva,and need paper work filled out or signed,it took them over a week to do. After I have called and left several messages, and tried calling but no answer. The lady is the rudest person I have dealt with ina long time. Its to the point now that I'm taking my business elsewhere, all because of Dianes new receptionist.
I walked in the office on a Friday before closing in hopes I might be able to see Dr. Reed. I was in alot of pain and in this climate of pain killer abuse I hesitated even to go. Dr. Reed's office staff put me right in as a new patient as I don't ever go to the Dr unless its close to an emergency and they were the friendliest bunch you could ask for. Dr. Reed assessed me and offered some choices on how to get me back on my feet again quite literally. I never felt rushed and she took time to listen. I am 90% better already after a day and a half. So glad to have her and her office in the area.
My husband came in last Wednesday for a rash and had signs of a head cold. He was diagnosed with shingles and psoriasis. And said his throat was a little red. Within 24 hrs, I was calling 911. He was sepsis and had pneumonia. The hospital said he was within hours of septic shock and possibly death. They hadn't seen counts that high for sepsis in a long time. L acid 7. The ER nurse that night called 3x from home to check on him as she was thinking he would not make it over night. The CT scan clearly showed pneumonia and they said any medical person with experience could hear the lesions thru a stethoscope on his lungs. The rash was from sepsis. I believe most medical facilities should be able to see if someone was sick with pneumonia. I almost became a widow. He is still in the hospital day 5. Please double check your patients and even if they don't know they are that sick, learn to know what to look for. Clearly that is why you are supposed to be the professionals. And the patients aren't. Also, did you not check his o2 count? It was 86.
I've never waited more then a half hour to be seen by doctor. She was very nice and friendly. She always helps as much as she can.
God bless Diane and her staff. Professional, efficient, and caring.
