Mack Middle School

This school is the most horrible school that I have personally ever been to. If there was a -100 star rating, that is what I would of rated this school. This school is completely dangerous, the school staff doesn't do anything at all. Apparently, the staff believes that dress code is more important than anything. There was probably 30+ fights this year, but "our school is safe." Maybe the staff should recognize student safety rather than picking on a student wearing faded navy blue pants, eh? The teachers here are horrible. They spit out racial slurs left and right, they don't do their job, and their grading system is pathetic. This year, my mother has had to email my teachers countless times because they failed to do their job. Don't even try to talk to me about the administration either. This school has the worst admin I could possibly comprehend. This school is pathetic, disgusting, perverted, and had altered my education. Never would I want to go to this school EVER again. Do your children a favor and keep them safe, never bring them to this horrid school. It is extremely dangerous. And if you do bring them, I wish the best of luck to you. I am happy that I am out of this junk. Now I may eat my ice cream and watch Bohemian Rhapsody in peace. Good day lad.

All three years I went there was terrible. I have never met deans so vile and rude. The only cool staff member was Mr. L the counselor, the rest were extremely rude. The disciplinary system is one of the worst in the state of Nevada. The students are rude as well and only get a Slap on the wrist. Stay away from this school.

This is one of the most disgusting schools I have ever been to. My dad had to come up here 6 times and has made complaints to the district. He told them he felt cornered and threatened. I was once kicked in the school hall, and they mare it look like i was wrong. My least crowded class had 30 kids. How am I supposed to learn anything in here? Kids are put-down by others due to race, gender, ethnicity, and how they look/act. I have even been told to kill myself from an 8th grade student here. The only thing harrasers get is a slap on the wrist and an forced apology.Teachers care more about dress code and how we behave than our education. Before the end of the summer, My father and I were contacted by the principal, and was reassured that this would NOT happen again. Now, here it is a couple weeks into the new school year, and its just as bad as last year. I have already been verbally and Physically harmed, and nothing has been done as to when I have brang this up. I put in my statement, my friend got interviewed, and that was the end of what thay have done.

This school is terrible, i have my son in there 2 years and nothing good but RPC all the time. Sending him home its very easy that way they dont have to deal with him. Specially Mrs Stratin dean she is very disrespect full and dont give a damn about kids future. I have nothing good to say about this school.But i thing thats the reason kids not getting they edication there. The principal is family to her so she can get away with everything. My son not a angel he has bad temper wont take ignorance from nobady, but i think they should handle situations diferente. Like his old school if kids miss behave they go help at the office shredding old papers ext. I was talking the dean at his old school he said if we send students home they wont get educations so we are separate them here has to whare diferente uniform and thay are inhouse detention. Well done..i love everybody at Bailey middle school, they are high qualified

This school suck so bad, i dont even know what they want to learn here, some teacher dont even know what to teach, all they say is to do packets of work and just sit on their desk and use their phones. Mr. Gildner tells the classes some rasist jokes to the class and i dont think is is accatable. plus, ever since we go the laptops this year, alomost 65% of the school is failing, they didnt make it student friendly. i know so many people that tried to protect them self from a fight and they still got in trouble even thoe they were inocent. there was so many fights this year. there was about 23- 27 fights this year. im not lying, and like the parent said below, they dont inforce anti-bullying, but they think inforcing dress code is more importent than bullying. this staff dissgustes. first of all they say that the staff is to prevent problems , but ms. washington always gets things riled up with kids in step. and plus S.T.E.P program was dumb. they dont learn anything there. ms. apling the step teacher is horrible, first of all, there was this kid that was causing out the teacher and she was causing back and she alwasy kept on saying that he wont do anythingfighting. the dean is dumb, she looks dumb, she acts dumb, and shes pure dumb, she thinks suspending solves everything. i know someone that got suspended because he told the dean that he got kicked on his balls, and they said that they dont know what happen so they just suspended both of them, the story was theres this game were they go around and hit kids on the balls and its called "cup check". and think before sending your child to this school. its horrible.

Once we got past the enrollment situation I really liked how my daughter finally found a place she was comfortable and was able to bring her grades up and learn some new skills.

this school is amazing the teachers care so much I went here in sixth grade and cryed when I was told this year I cant go for seventh cause I moved the learning is very hands on with the net books and last year there were no fights it is a uniform school but it is worth it cause you can dye your hair any color you want and they wont care and I was not bullied AT ALL which is a first the lunch is amazing and the teachers are more like friends and are always there to listen they have archery and many other after school activetys most schools don't have you can even make your own club and It is very easy to make friends.

It's a good school but I'm only complaining about Ms Presilla she is really rude she screams at kids in my class room. I wish I had Mr Bradley

It was a lot of racism at this school.The Mexicans were racist towards anyone who wasn't hispanic.Basically it was complete discrimination,but overall the school was alright.

Love this school and the teachers and students are great my son went here..l Tbe students are good very respectful..this 1 of the great schools in Vegas and im a mom saying this.
