Actually a really nice macys with large selection and wide variety/range of products. It is a busier store and you’ll have to wait for some service.
It's pricey but selection is decent. They have a "Backstage" area which you should check out first as it's much cheaper and same quality but things change daily.
Walked through, didn't buy anything. They were having a big sale. I checked out the shoes. They had only one shoe out of the pair available to try on, and you needed to ask for an associate to get the other. This was a pain for both myself and the associate, but I get why they do it. Checked out the designer handbags next, same thing. Bags were locked up. I'm not sure I could have found someone to help if I wanted to, unless I asked the makeup counter employees. The store seemed clean, and shelves were stocked and organized.
Dress shopping and they have their accessible dressing rooms blocked by a rolling rack of dresses because they didn't want to have to keep both sides clean. This kept more than one shopper from being able to try on dresses so I moved the rack. Shoppers happy, sales lady mad. I let the sales lady know that people of every ability have the same rights and if she has an issue with that all 5 of us who need that side can tell her boss why we are going somewhere else to buy our $100+ dresses.
I was in a women’s department line to pay and a woman in front of me very disgruntled over not using “her” coupon. Christie Cole was very patient and kind trying to explain to her how she got her discount , showed her on the screen and found another coupon that applied. This woman wasn’t having any of it. It went on and on complaining about Macys. Christie was very nice and calm through all after which this woman decided to not buy any of it. Kudos to this sales associate for her very professional manner!
This Macy's location is well stocked with a variety of clothes and when they say they have something in stock on the website, it has been correct. This location is also super clean and highly recommend it! Prices are great and the quality of the clothes are also great!
A nice, clean store. There's a large selection for most types of items. I was a little disappointed in the size of the men's shoes area since that was what I showed up for. There were also photos of Cincinnati landmarks, which was neat.
It's been a while, so when the elevator said, "You are there" in regards to the Men's area, I looked around and saw no men's items, and no signage in the middle atrium area of the store that said anything about men's. Where I thought it had used to be located on the second floor was not it. Turns out you had to go through a section marked "Luggage & Kitchen" or something to that effect, and the Men's was behind that. So you had to go through to the back of each section to find it, as it was not marked. It was a fairly large section, so I'm not sure why they wanted to hide it. Some sale items, but the cologne was pricey as usual. One bonus: The cologne I had liked at Nordstrom, where there was no staff anywhere near the cologne "stand" was also sold at Macy's, so I was able to buy it. The staff member was surprised at my rapid decision, but I had been wearing the scent for my entire walk through Kenwood Town Centre by then, so I just had to smell it to confirm it was the same as what I wanted.
Fun to be back in a mall. Macy's had lots to choose from in the backstage section which was inexpensive but nice. Found some nice purses on sale and one that will work for a wedding. Glad we stopped and took our time.
