I'm very sad Macy's is closing out and leaving our already dying West Park Mall in Cape Girardeau. A store assoc said Monday started their up to 40% off. The store was half empty on only the 2nd day. And of course the prices are tripled so that any discount does not suggest discounted. We left empty handed and more saddened.
Sadly, our local Macy's, which is an anchor store for our mall, is closing. Most of the merchandise is already gone. Prices on the remaining merchandise are surprisingly high even on sale. Store is even selling fixtures, but be aware you have to pay for those with cash or another credit card, not your Macy's card.
Great service! Laura helped me find what I needed and went above and beyond to assist me with multiple requests. They also helped me find the perfect cologne for my date nite with my wife. Delish! Also, I found a great dress that my wife lived for date night! Thanks guys!
Enjoy shopping here, especially the perfume & cologne section. Most associates are willing to help you out. I do wish that Macy's had a better return policy than 30 days because I live an hour away from my nearest Macy's & sometimes it's hard to get to it within 30 days.
Macy's is always a great experience! I liked the store in Cape Girardeau, MO. The staff is very friendly and the store is in the liquidating stages. They will be closing soon; so, get all the product that you can! The sales were really good!
As with any store, I always visit the clearance section. I found some great shirts and a pair of pants and saved lots of cash in some very nice clothes. I don't usually shop in any other section in department stores. The selection was pretty good. Anything from Summer wear to sweaters.
Didn't like the way I was treated that lady must hate her job in the cosmetic dept. I WONT BE GOING BACK. I NEEDED TO EXCHANGE A 80.00 BOTTLE OF PERFUME I GOT FOR B DAY AND XMAS. THEY WOULDN'T EXCHANGE IT BECAUSE OF BEING BOUGHT OVER 120 DAYS AGO. I DIDN'T WANT MONEY BACK WAS A GIFT THAT STINKS ON ME. THE PARFUME IS NAMED BEAUTIFUL ,I'M STUCK WITH AN EIGHTY DOLLAR OF PERFUME .
Most of the time you have wonderful people that wait on you but I guess there can be the one that can make you feel like you are wasting their time. Had to exchange something so I showed this lady the foundation I use. After being very short with me she rang up the difference and gave me my item. Not a thank you or need anything else just a little on the rude side but not with the lady after me. When I got home and hour away and opened my bag I noticed that the makeup isnt even the same color and it has to be taken back. With work and distance it's hard to want to go and exchange it so went to PB and bought another one. So at Macys it seems like if you are buying something you get good service but if you are exchanging something you get the brush off. This lady has been here a long time and I am sure she knows alot about the products but when I go to trade out for the right color foundation that SHE messed up I will not go to her. I thank all the ladies that I have bought from all these years that have been so kind and helpful. What a blessing you have been.
Got great one on one service from Mary in the handbag area. She showed me right where to look for what I wanted and then showed me other options. Very helpful and very knowledgeable. Got the perfect special gift for the wife. Very satisfied.
Stopped at the West Park store Cape Girardeau MO store as a break during a long car trip. I wanted to walk & shop for gifts. I am a long-time customer of Macy's and was disappointed in the staff at this store. I doubt I'll ever return.
